  • purely awesome... i'd be humping the shit out of the equipment too if i was making music like that.

  • Wow, I was here. Brings back memories - simply a mind-blowing show.

  • Fucking the synthesizer = win

  • awesome!!!!

  • when are all you people out there going to stop the incessant noise in your heads that cares when people make negative comments

think of all the negative energy and time it takes for you to stoop to the exact same level

people have stupid thoughts and comments and have different opinions

    so be it

ask yourself why do you care so much to prove a silly person who is being negative wrong???

    this song is incredible!!!

  • 5:46

it looks like he is trying to fuck his keyboard

    regardless, a great song

  • as this song came onto play in Brisbane at the Zoo someone in the audience smoked a joint, which helped create this special something hehe

  • This is not house, and neither is the album version. I might go as far to say that maybe it has been influenced by house, but it is definitely not house or even "prominently" house. I'd say most of anthony's music is influenced by early post rock from the mid 90's - 2000 and other various shoegaze, experimental bands and electronica artists such as Sigur Ros, and Brian Eno.

  • I don't understand how you don't see my point. I never said that this song was just purely house music. I (in an indirect manner) said it was influenced by house music, and then it is morphed, twisted, and reworked into a full blown M83-style song.

    Jesus Christ.

  • ahhh stop talkin through your hole n just listen to it. labelling a tune doesn't make a difference to the quality

  • They also closed with this song in Brisbane. Sooo happy they finally came to australia.

Just epicly awesome being able to experience them live

  • They closed their set with this a vfest perth yesterday. Was awesome.

  • THEIR COMING TO BRISBANE,AUSTRALIA 31st MARCH

  • The ability of this band to take a house song/groove and make it one of the most emotional songs I've heard in a long time is really just awesome.

  • are you referring to this song?

  • Yes, I am referring to this song.

  • how is that a house song?

  • Have you listened to this song before? And I don't mean just this live version. It has a lot of elements of house music.

This live version is very post-rock-like. And that's expected of a live M83 show. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it's not the same as the album version.

  • yeah, couleurs is my favourite song of his, off any album, but I dont see how it can be called house, its closer to post rock than anything.

  • Have you listened to the song? Bumping 4/4 drum beat through the entire song, synthesizer riffs, and electronic percussion. I can see post-rock in the song, but house is definitely prominent.

  • doesnt mean its house, synthesisers, 4/4 beats? yeah, that stuff originated from house alright, but this very song is very far removed from house

  • I never said the song was purely a house track. I said it features a lot of elements of house music. You're putting words in my mouth.

  • ELECTRONIC MUSIC

  • Way to lose your own argument.

  • heyeveryone, this song has 4/4 beat, such elements of house in it!

    Claps all around

  • wow trolling super coolz man.

  • troll? are you a child or something?

  • No. Are you?

  • You use the word troll.

  • Comment removed

  • I just stated how I felt about this song and then this person had to come in and make a stupid argument.

  • uncool? Describe 'uncoolness' please

  • Uncool.

    You're an idiot, man.

  • wow, shit i was an idiot

  • your right, it is quite good how they can turn something as complex as this kind of music and transform into something so brilliant :) but its not that uncommon-other bands do a similar thing-like mogwai with electroney rocky music :)

  • viva la musica!!!! yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

  • I try and see them every time they come around northern California, They are fucking amazing live.

  • these were terrible at sheffield, how on earth are these supporting kol?shocking!!

  • the song sounds so much better live.

  • Yep. more melodic - less reverby/wall of noise

  • seein them on friday supportin kol

  • they were f'n radical that night

  • fucking great!

i hope to see live them again for once more

    sometime soon...

  • i was here!!!!!

  • En directo esta gente te hace tocar el cielo, son los mejores en su estilo, sin duda. Y que vengan más a Madrid!

  • TRANSSSS

  • holy shit thanks for posting this. it brings back memories of an awesome show

  • thought it was only one guy in the band? who is the girl?

  • It's just one guy in the studio who writes all the music (anthony), but he can't do it all live so he gets a band together. The girl actually sang on his new album though.

  • Morgan Kibby?

  • Yeah! that's her name. She's excellent.

  • her voice fits so perfectly on Saturdays=Youth

  • yeah plus shes a babe and has good stage presence too.

  • this was such a rad show! awesome vid man!

  • ahh, I love this song

  • u fucing champ!

  • i was there and this song blew me away live

  • Quite a spectacle of keyboard-humping

  • @designforpeople It does look like he's banging his Keyboard synthesizer, great music nonetheless, always will be evolving

  • Thanks for the video! I thought it was a great show.
