So basicly this homebrew allows me to watch movies or whatever on my wii right? Does it allow the reading of an external usb too or do i Need another program for that too? If not, then the movies go in the SD card then Im guessing....

UPDATE and it does now days IT DIDNT WHEN THIS OLD ASS VID WAS MADE however lol...but yeah if you use the right dol it will support both fat32 and ntfs file systems check WIIBREWORG for updates

Hey thanks for the upload. I was wondering... how do you load DVDs? I read that you need to press B+A to go to the DVD menu... but mine doesn't not go anywhere. Do I need to do something else?

Actually its HOME AND B to return to main menu ;)

Also you have to dump a video_ts folder from the DVD to your external USB hard drive ;)

LMAO no it will get you FREEDOM but you better read up ;) homebrew and reading go HAND AND HAND if your not up to researching BEFORE you apply....then dont bother wasting our collective time ;)...However if you have the WILL to read and learn...its a MAJOR blessing have a sift through my vids and ask yourself?

yeah bro I was a big contributer to the psp scene Made a halo dungeons mod and a few other fun projects! :) but anywho for your wii first thing to do is this:

twilight hack it...install HBC (the homebrew channel)

Install Preloader (its like fanjitas pandora battery bro it can recover your bricks)

ALWAYS CHECK wiibrew dot -org for info first ;)

if you get stumped use visual aids here on youtube ;) search for twilight hack tutorial or something to that effect ;) and Good luck bro!

MPLAYER and even the REAL BUILDS of geexbox SUCVK ASS with externals THIS IS A MODDED MEDIA PLAYER SPECIFICLY BUILT TO PLAY FROM THE USB EXTERNAL so yes your 1 TB is a perfect solution for media previding it is formated to FAT and not NTSF thios will work a treat bro...as you can see in the vid...

well i actually did this for a PS3 vid the other day and have a decrypted dvd dump of the new boondocks...I will try and see if it plays but I am 99% sure it wont ;)...(watch it play and me be wrong LOL) Ill get back to you asap with an answer to that ;) if you have a ps3 watch my most recent video

well I barely beleave it myself but it does actually work with a decrypted dvd dump on GeeXbox!

who knew! lol guess .VOB supportis in the port! thank god this is powered by linux huh! (even if you do not realize it this is all thanks to white linux)

up to a terrabyte with my new 1tb ( that means 1000 gig hdd for wii media and homebrew wich can BOTH be loaded on external usb hdd using LoadMii and Geexbox linux based media player for wii)

BTW MAXTORS ARE GARBAGE FOR THIS YOU CANNOT HAVE THEM IN FAT WITHOUT PARTITIONS so just be smart and buy a WESTERN DIGITAL for 120$ at wal-mart and have a 1000 gig usb hard drive for your wii! i own a ps3 and 360 (see my vids) and i ONLY use my wii! for my media! hahahahaha

its a AVI file called BACGROUND AVI its in the share/usr folder i think it was bro ;) just find background.avi (not all will work as a BG but if you use dvdvideosofts free youtube downloading software it works perfect ;)
