I have issues with my 120p as well, but my friend who had similar problems sent his light in and NEVER got it back, company has no record of it being recieved, but ups has record of it being dropped off. I guess i will live with it, rather than risk never seeing it again.
I have this also, only on the first two of the 21 steps (85P). Intermittent, I can only occasionally get it to occur. Goes away if I "press" for momentary max for a second. Sometimes goes away on its own in a few seconds.
In my case does not appear to be battery related or dirty connections. Hot, cold, rested or not; also proved to be inconclusive as factors. So... not user fixable?
A bit disheartening of course, but I am very happy with my NovaTac over other models I have seen. I'm keeping it
