I'm pretty sure this was a radio call from the police to block the already cluttered freeway. In that situation state would pay for damages done to the trucks.
the driver of the semi probably lost his job for that. if the truck was personally owned, you know the police department didnt give up a dime to help him fix it.
as far as i know there are strict laws about being a vigilante and involving yourself in police business punishable as a felony. the states rarely presses charges though.
nice move, but good samaritan awards are only passed out to people who save lives.
@gorgnaga actually he didn't "help the police" I'm sure the truck driver that the car HIT, said something over his CB, and the truck driver stopped the car from running.
