yup, i considered it but i really wanted the ability to control the sample decks. i use a neumark mixtrack (and i remapped my Laptop keybord to control a bunch of the Traktor 2 features but its not the same) and have completely grown out of it. Any good reasons i should look back into the S2 besides price? Isnt it coming out in october? I cant wait that long, lol

@rocketoil hold down shift and then above each channel you can choose if it cuts on side 1 / side 2 / or just stays on (all buttons turned off) this is how you can custom set it up to cut how you desire

What I really want to ask is, is the scratching just as good as let's say a CDJ and also, do the jogwheels have the potential to last for a long time? Also, do the size of the jogwheel would be difficult to handle scratching?

First... kick ass video. Out of all of the videos that I've seeing for this device, this one definitely has convince me a little to go and get it instead of the Pioneer DDJ-S1. However, is it really difficult to scratch on those jog wheels? only reason I'm asking because of my experience with the VCI 100 and another thing that still keeps me away from purchasing this powerful device is Traktor, which was 1 of the reasons I got rid of my VCI 100. @onetidd go to Preferences then Mixer -> Crossfader then change to Sharp. I scratch reverse so I also change the channel by hitting SHIFT the above the channel I choose 1 o 2. Hope that helps!
