Speaking as a experienced Barista you should never extract the coffee before heating the milk. The creme in the coffee is a little off and there's no ring of coffee around the milk edge. Good try though
@theSolarisDragon the way i do it is from a professional point of view, not like other places that scoop out the froth with a spoon. Makes the coffee like crap.
@mamapunkette if you steam the milk to early and the shot isnt a good extraction , the milk would have dried up first. So yeah, for my way id extract shots first then steaming my milk, The shots last 15 secs before wearing out the flavour and crema which within the 15 secs, i should have my microfoam done and ready for pouring. But his dude. Doesnt know how to prepare one properly.
coffee burnt and the milk has boiled! Cocoa has made a ball of chocolate in the middle of the cup, that wasn't a cappuccino but a capuccino as they wrote
come on this is not a capuccino it is a capuccino latte it has to much milk. the perfect receipe is one third coffe one third milk and one third steamed milk in the perfect temperature which is 63-67 celcious degrees
that has nothing to do with an italian cappuccino. That is a concoction with no name and, besides, the foam looks like dishwasher foam. And why do you use such a big mug for a cappuccino?!
far from perfect, you should of banged n swirled the milk to reduce airy foam, you poured it way too fast into the cup so you didnt get the brown ring. You also left the coffee in the group handle too long so its burned
je croyais que les vrais cappushinos on mettait le café a la fin ?

@mamapunkette That is the old, outdated way of doing it - the lack of a ring of coffee was because he poured the milk too fast.

It's a good title because evidently, you need some help to prepare a CAPPUCCINO.

Shot poured way too quick. Either more coffee or finer grind needed. Should poor the shot as soon as the group head is placed in the machine also.
And what was with the milk pouring technique?
Chocolate should lightly cover the whole top of the coffee, not heavily in the middle.
Glad you enjoyed the way it taste though.

nope sweat126,it should have a golden ring of crema on the top...and thats the power of good shot espresso.
dabamie 3 years ago
Froth your milk first leaving the espresso in the machine while you wait, or it will burn.
knight024 3 years ago
where is the esp. crema? it should create a golden ring of esp. crema on top of your cappuccino.
