  • wondering if the Scythe Ninja 3 would fit on a Abit ip35-e motherboard?

  • You should review mobos more often.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm assuming this card is not ddr3 compatible?

  • Nope

  • @v3zah, please refer to the description: "It accepts up to 8GBs of Dual channel DDR2 800/667 un-buffered non-ECC memory."

  • 2007...

  • i have the same mboard

i chk with intel's processor id software.

it's showing me tht my processor is overclockd from 2.66 to 2.72.

my processor is core 2 quad.

wht shud i do to de-overclock

  • Yes you can, 1066mhz ram does work.

  • The only issue I have with this motherboard is that the Ram divider only goes 1:1 then 1:1.2 a 1:1.1 would be perfect.

This motherboard can do 2000mhz fsb its a great overclocker!

  • wow, blue.

  • act like your not 10, how do you no what he no about comput

  • lol, he says 6-6-6 and at the end his voice sounds satanic.......

  • Is this Support 45nm processor?

  • i think its safer to go with p5 and p45 mobos if you want to use 45nm processors

  • It's looks a kind of.... blue?

  • ps 2 dude !! lol ur funny

  • how does that make him funny? thats what the ports are called....

  • you obviously didn't watch the end of the video

haha it was pretty funny how he said it

  • i've bought that one couple days ago, head many good things about it, now i only need to buy 4850, and my new pc is ready ;)

  • lacks features, but works well.

He really needs to do reviews on some higher quality P35 Chipset mother boards, such as the A-Bit IP35 Pro, or the Gigabyte model that I forget the name of at this time.

  • do you see 2 pci express slots? no you don't so yes you are retarded,

  • i do not see

  • can u use 1066MHZ ram with this?

  • crossfire = ati's version of nvidia's SLI

he stated at the end it's not crossfire capable, so no, not SLI capable

for future reference, an easy way to determine if a mobo is dual card configureable is the number of PCI-e x16 slots it has, it has 2 or 3, you're ready to SLI. also, if you're checking out mobos in a store, just look for the "SLI ready" sticker.

  • you have to also make sure the Pcie slots are both 16x. most motherboards out their are one 16x and one 8x pcie. this means if you sli it will default to 8x speed which is a waste of money because the next gen single slot cards outperform a double 8x cards.

  • I love this board, it runs OS X very very well. Kalyway is your friend. :)

  • I warn everyone, installing a freezer 7 Pro on this motherboard is dodgy - it pushes on the chipset cooling a little. But the temps are still fine which I'm happy about.

  • I'm looking for a mother board thats compatible with blu-ray high difiniton video is this mother board compatible before I start building?

  • 'Hahaha' you are such a retarded, I feel bad for you haha, won't even tell why!

  • But still not as retarded as you.

  • its not the motherboard. it depends on the processor and graphics card.

go for a nvidia geforce 7 or 8 series card

and a newer dual or quad core processor.

  • times will chande when the realiced the 3850x2 card it wos ownige to 9800gtx (which is not raliest yet and talking abot ati well they made 4000 searies cant wait till its tested:)

  • wow KickAss, kewl

  • i have a Abit IP35 mobo (pretty much the same but with improved cooling, RAID, two extra SATA connectors, 2 extra USB ports, FireWire)

and i am very satisfied. the dual-boot problem went away with BIOS 15.

    it overclocks really well.

  • Why is every body talking about keyboards here.

This is a Abit mobo not a PS/2 keyboard.

    noobs these days....

  • MOLEX..LoL

  • moled is used as the chipset power,

    lol nOOb......

  • Woot! Thats my MoBo!

  • hi five

  • i ordered it yestuday but i wosint sure it could suport my cpu i tok a risk and now i know it wos woth it.

on newegg. com they onely showed that it colud suport 1066/1333

ty to xtremesystems . com forms

    :DDDD

  • I assume your talking about your FSB but yeah my CPU's FSB is 800MHz and it works because they are backwards compatible. Same goes for your RAM and whatnot. All in all its a good mobo but i'm kinda wishing I got a PCI-E 2.0 board now :(

  • just because you can't afford something doesn't mean you don't have the money for it

you might not be able to justify so much on a keyboard because you want to buy a second boat for all i know, I never said i had more money than you either

fyi, I do have a clue.

that's why i will never need to work again,

I exploited information assymetries created by people with less knowledge and different beliefs of value to make my fortune

  • k ancer for ALL of your Q's lol

the main difrance in the ps2 keyboard and a usb is that when u press 3-5 buttons at a time the pc will beb at u and it wont recagnice the rest of the keys your pressing, and in usb well simply beter responce and u can press as many as u want

(in still stuck with a ps2 keybord) :(

and sorry for the speling im not an american.

  • I didn't waste money,

money is almost valueless to me

and you're just jealous I have what you can't afford,

don't be bitter and make untrue statements. everyone else can read you're wrong even if you're in denial

  • fact,

let us see a ps/2 keyboard allow you to plug a controller in it

let us see a ps/2 keyboard light up and flash to music, or let you read your e-mail mid game

    let's see it

    ...didn't think so!

  • tell that to my LG15

    i don't see a ps/2 that can match it,

simply because keyboards with usb ports in them and headset ports own all

  • now you're getting it! ;)

    lol

    btw I really am a businessman ;)

  • ok...that's a load of bullshit. I've NEVER heard of Golden Dennace. And why would a rock star need to be a businessman at the same time? You don't sound like much of a rockstar, going to boring business meetings..

  • Many still use PS/2 mice and keyboards... like myself. And also, the PS/2 ports are useful for troubleshooting, say if someting seems to be wrong with the USB ports, or something... and some OSes have trouble with USB keyboards/mice.

  • i guess you didnt see his bloopers or have a sense of humor to get what i was laughing about...

  • So?

  • he's smiling harder and harder... lol...

  • LOOK HES TRYING NOT TO LAUGH AT THE INTRO!! lol!

  • I just got this board, and apart from one minor problem, it really is excellent.

Thanks to Abit for a great board, and thanks for Rodney for the review. Without this review, I probably wouldn't have found out about this board.

  • whats the minor problem? i just bought it :S

  • When you turn it on or reboot, it turns on; fans spin, lights come on, etc. But nothing happens for about 5-10 seconds, and then it powers down. Then after a couple more seconds, it powers up again, but boots properly.

No big deal, but it can get on your nerves.

I updated the BIOS and it doesn't do it as much now, but it does still happen a bit.

  • its exaclty the same thing with my cousin's PC. He have that motherboard and it runs just fine, apart that minor problem aswell.

  • Who on earth uses RAID or even Firewire these days??Especially after USB got faster than 1394 with USB2.Next youll be moaning that there is no SCSI controller/socket on there!!

  • A lot of people RAID.

  • Why isn't there an SCSI controller on this board!? This sucks.

  • @ 1minute 9 seconds:

    PENCIL!!!!!!

  • I want to make a 3DGAMEMAN pencil prodding compilation.

  • Not bad for $90 USD.

  • Omg .... ncie review!!!

  • Loved the ending. lol, great review, keep up the great work!

  • He talks so fast at the end.... good God, just put that crap in the notes and say BYE!!!

  • Yh lol i noticed that at the end of his videos as well. LOL

  • this...product...is...100...percent...kickass! why does he pause so much

  • Overclocker UK is using this on there Ultima series.

  • i there a board that supports DDR3 memory

  • what you mean ???

  • is there a board that supports DDR3 memory

  • Yes, but they are about 400$ and ddr3 ram is about 500-700$ for 2gb

  • of course dude , DDRIII is the newwest technology , so it will be Xpensive than DDRII , so , just use DDRII at the moment , while you wait for the DDRIII become normal

  • there is totally no point using ddr3 right now, you can simply push a ddr2 to 533 or higher. for now you can find some cheap generic pc8500

  • This board also supports new 45nm cpu's ?

  • Yes it does.

  • he is cool man and funny too.

  • Boo ABIT !!!

    BOOOO!!!!!

ASUS have THE BEST MoBo in the world !!!!

  • You're not wrong

  • man, stfu, abit rox asus, asus only copies abit

  • lol, what?!? how old are you?!? you an Abit fanboy or something, because that was probably the most FALSE statement I have ever heard.

  • Your not wrong, but your english sucks.

  • Come on forgive Ak4Sniper , he is still a small boy , see her name , Ak & Sniper also didnt dont know how to diffrent it , that mean he is still a small boy .

BTW , ASUS Is the BEST

  • No raid controller!? BOOO, boo this board.

  • yeh, no raid :'(

  • Is this a 4pwm motherboard or 6? analog or digital?

  • Hey. I'm thinking of buying this board for my new computer system. Does linux work OK with it? This is a serious factor here, because I use Linux.

  • Yes it works with Linux. You have to worry about the GPU a bit more though. Make sure it's a Nvidia GPU, get the 8800GT if you like to game.

  • That's sorted then. I'll use this board in my new system... with an nvidia graphics board.

    Thanks.

  • been a while seeing a Mobo Review.. but nice board xD

  • o yea i think when u make ur next review u should put the price so if someone is making a rig then they would no the price just saying

  • Raptor X! Raptor X!

  • Kickass, wicked! Kickass, wicked! Kickass, wicked!

  • Just bought Abit's IP35-PRO as a Christmas present for someone; basically the high-end version of this board...

  • again this has been anothervideo review.... he said this slower

  • sweet

  • What? The 3GM watermark is on the left this time?

  • thats weird?

  • This defiantly must be a budget motherboard.

  • Wow, a motherboard review, it's been so long. 5/5

  • Yeah, no kiddding. Only a difference of about 93 video reviews between this and the last video review.

  • not the best mobo but ok, pretty standard. no 1394, firewire, raid control,

  • one of the best choices for a single graphicscard for that amount of money. P35 chipset!!

  • najs :D

  • the colour is immense! I want my motherboard to be like that, if this mobo had 2 PCI Express x16 slots then it would be even better

  • Love your video reviews, always good to view. Awesome color on this board...

  • 1st to rate 5* as always ;)

  • I like the blue but no crossfire :(

  • Almost 900!!

  • I must say, that thing is an extraordinary color. Shocking blue.

  • Nice
