  • Would really like this song in HD with lyrics, If you can get a hold on the Video instead of the live track, that would be awesome! Thanks!!! :)

  • thought paul carrick sang this i love u

  • this is so me, honestly! i am not a jealous person, i have had it all, but when the kids come along along i thought i was badly done too. but my kids are my teachers in two languages its diff as you can imagine.

  • Wer is jetz Paul Young und wer is jetz Paul Carrack?

  • Einer der größten Hits vom Mike & The Mechanics mit P. Young als Sänger, suuuper !!

Ist schon Irre was aus den Genises Urgesteinen wurden: P.Collins / P. Gabriel & M. Rutherford mit seiner Mechanics Band P.Young / Carrack / P-van Hooke / J. Moses !!!

Sie alle können noch ,, handgemachte '' Music Komponieren, Spielen & Singen !!!

Ist das Zufall oder Können und Leidenschaft ??!!!

Was haben Typen wie: E.John / Sting / Van Morrison & co, dem heutigen gequäcke Lady Gaga's & Co voraus ? Gefühl !

  • LOVE

  • 91.000 views? This song should have + fifty million. Absolutley outstanding, thanks for the upload.

  • a spiritual pop song. A real gem, lyrically and peformance wise.

  • I played their CD so much, I broke it!

  • Tune

  • This is awsome. RIP Paul Young.

  • Yes The Riddler84 he really was a class act, loved his growly voice and now we have lost Gary Moore too, such a shame these greats are no longer with us - irreplaceable. Sue

  • He was terrific, such a sin that he died :[. I guess there are just some too great to live forever, and he wasn't sick here, he died suddenly five years after this. and he and paul carrack were both lead singers, Mechanics didnt have one lead hahah. God Bless You Paul

  • RIP Paule!!!

  • Paul Young is the composer & singer of the song: "Everytime you go" ??? or is another ?? or singers with same names ??

  • @96lagos singers with same names

  • @sober8 i thought that was paul oooh ok then, just been on wiki, fair enough then, i stand corrected, thanks dude!

  • @sober8 why have most canadians got decent taste in music? lol not that im complaining i think its awesome!

  • @96lagos

This Paul Young was in Sad Cafe.

  • @96lagos there are another paul young who sings" love of the common people," "comback and stay" he is still alive and performs.

  • @96lagos Paul Young left Mike and the Mechanics, to persue his own career, a good one too, always left a bit sorry for Paul myself (I grew up listening to him rather than Mike and the mechanics though).

Great soloist though I think is Paul Young, I didn't know about him being one of the original members of the band until fairly recently though!

  • Thanks Paul, we'll all miss you!!

  • When I am feeling down this song always makes me feel good, so uplifting.

  • Toller Song, thanks to Mike and his mechanics

  • I agree, Paul's vocals is just stunning. A voice (and great spirit within it) that is sorely missed by me...

  • Simply, one of the GREATEST songs ever written (and performed), and also, by one of the Best Bands ever...

  • René Bjerrehus DK. Miss you Paul Young, you are one of the best singer ever, and nobody can sing this song like you can.

  • I miss you, Paul Young.

  • I love this song! There are so many people who would benefit from listening to it!

  • wheres the original?????

  • Comment removed

  • the secret! :)

  • Aahahahaha, this is so freakin' lame, yet kind of awesome at the same time.

  • At first I was a little iffy on the video, it seems like he's just going crazy, so yeah, I thought it was a little lame at first.

Do you see how much fun he's having on stage though? He's not dancing around to please the crowd, he couldn't care less - he's on stage singing a song he feels proud of.

  • Paul, rest in peace & love...

You teach us how to cure the pain before taking the pleasure!

  • Simply wonderful, never seen that live and that was fantastic.

Yep thats Paul Carrack, wonderful guy.

  • Sorry paul was in them, I really truely didnt know that.

Still wonderful though, the best musicians I think, really like this band, a real band though!

  • Wonderful Paul Young !!!

We miss you, what a presence and what a voice !! We'll never forget you !!

  • Thats Paul Carrack lol (least i hope it is), real music though, nothing like it nowadays.

Im also a fan of Paul Young though soo wonderfull haha, least Paul Carrack was the lead guy to them anyways.

  • Stumbled upon this song thanks to Lastfm. I must say, this touched me. And this vid... I usually expect the live quality stuff to suck, but this was clearly intended to be recorded with the best possible quality. Now I don't have to hunt it down elsewhere...

Love how people call out the new songs. There have been bad songs since forever fellas, yes there's crap today, but if people want to listen to it, let them without criticism. Just enjoy the good stuff while they let it slip by them...

  • Youngey legend!!!

  • sensazione, isn´t it ?

  • Is a pleasure see that there are a lot of people who like the same music i liked, although, yes, we are the less. Good luck for all of you.

  • Estupendo, adios amigo.

  • A sad loss clearly very ill here, but the voice still very good - and don't forget Sad Cafe either- Everyday hurts what a song and he wrote it

  • so was geiles

  • Comment removed

  • the crap thats round now. haha. i totally agree. i thought it was just me that liked the old stuff and thought the new stuff was like dogshite. musicians these days need to learn how to write good songs like these!

  • Why is it so hard to find Paul Young on here with Mike and the Mechanics? He died so young and was such a beautiful man (talent, voice, personality, looks, soul, and voice again). Can see he didn't look well here. Am still sooooo sad about it all. Let us not forget please. Bless you Paul.

  • this is what i call music not the crap thats around now

  • What a great live performance!!!

  • felsner1 = JERK!

    this is amazing,

  • Youngy at his very very best.........RIP xxx

  • felsner1 - perhaps the most stupid comment ever posted.

  • Last time i saw them i remember saying to my hubby i didnt think Paul looked very well.

  • i have seen them live 3 times and met them thay are amazing

  • this is wat u call talent!!

    he sounds fantastic live!!

  • just a great performance..Paul Young ..God bless You and thank you for your beautiful voice and music..we will always cherish your soul!

  • I Believe that the cause of Paul's heart attack was his smoking.

  • just wanna say iv seen these guys sing live so many times an they are just awsome they dont need any gimmicks to sound good ....they are good thanx for..... posting

  • No one could have done it better! Loved His energy, His voice, interpretation....Real, down to earth and believable! Love His Voice and it couldn't have been done any better!

  • Great (and truly) live performance... If only they'd processed Young's vocals bit.

  • ya must be jokin ... its brill ....

  • felsner1, That's only because you're used to hearing the studio version.

  • Oh - so you can't use dealy and 'verb on live vocals?

  • Love this song. What happened to Paul Young?

  • He died from a heart attack

  • Thank you very much for the info.

  • 52 years young .. a sad loss

  • @sober8 this kills me, I had no idea. I have loved this band forever.

  • @sober8 He's still alive lol, this biggest misconception about him (please excuse my lack of spelling or good grammar lol), but he had some work done on his voice box, but he's doing alright.

  • @sober8 wat you on paul youngs still alive

  • @antonscouse158 different paul young mate this one was in sad cafe

  • @trulylovelylady . hi there sadly Paul Young passed away july some 3 or 4 years aged 52 [ heart attack ] very talented man , kind regards

    terry

  • Great live Performance from M&tM... really intense and authentic Vocals

  • Fantasic!

Sad as hell that we will never see M&TM again as PY was irreplacable , so good on the rest to call it a day .

    the music will live on...

  • Feel good song!

  • Love it too!

    Where's the real video?

  • I fuckin love this song!

  • The studio version of this song was great but this live version is even better.

The late, great Paul Young had a truly brilliant voice and he is on very strong form here. He is sadly missed.

  • I had the pleasure of knowing his daughter, and met him.He was a funny warm, talented, generous guy,who never lost touch with his working class beginnings.A great man,and as you say, sadly missed-taken too early!!!!

  • Gary Wallis, greatest drummer on the planet.

  • I thought the video was strange, but I love Paul Young's voice; May he rest in peace...

  • Yes, brilliant performance from Paul, but also

love House of Many rooms from the album.

    Anyone able to upload?

  • Yes I agree! I need A House of Many Rooms

  • so agree. Have searched so hard for House of Many Rooms but no go. Saw Paul at Manchester Apollo when Sad Cafe were not famous. On the front row in my teens. Cannot believe he has gone. So full of life and so talented (and cute!).

  • good song! and the drummer is awesome!! just fucking brilliant!!

  • The man had a wonderful, wonderful voice.

  • just beauty..could listen to them forever...cause you can't hide talent and soul..they were touched by sense and faith

  • wow paul young looked like robert downey jr. great song r.i.p Paul.

  • Absolutely brilliant song, beautifully performed. This song can lift me - especially the lower I feel - it heals my soul

  • amazing song, performed brillantly live, I was 18 years old when this song came out, I look back with great memories....

  • I have been in one of the concerts and really enjoyed it there have even seen Mike Rutherford's son on one of the concerts, he looks like his father when he was much younger.

  • He was born on this date 61 years ago.

Info: British singer, member of Sad Café and Mike + the Mechanics

    Date of Birth: 06/17/1947

    Date of Death: 07/15/2000

    Age at Death: 53

No doubt you are in heaven sitting on your beach of gold..a fitting place for the man with the golden voice. The world of prog rock misses you very much. Truly one of the all time greats.

  • seen them in the national stadium dublin ireland this line up unbelivable band sad loss loved pauls (young of course) vocal. this was there encore the final one lol. great post thank you ...

  • please, can you guide me to get this concert? or any related? I am a very big fan of these guys..specially of "Youngy" (+)..thanx in advance !

  • ill keep an eye open an post wat ever i can ...cheers

  • thanx!! have a good week!!

  • I love this song! GOD BLESS

  • i've fallen in love with this band because of my father who was a huge fan and he's dead now so this music is very speciall for me and people should at least try to love it because it's really great

  • This is M&M doing Christian Rock, isn't it?

Whereas "All I Need is a Miracle" is about a girl, with a slightly hidden message about.... as it should be, with the necessary double meanings.

  • I wouldn't class this song as Christian rock. It's just a very good song, in whatever genre you class it.

  • Great Song, I miss music like this today.

  • Great band playing their own music, their own compositions and actually sound good doing so. You don't get that anymore.

  • Exactly. Also pretty good lyrics. Its a shame we dont have that music anymore. What a music came out from England. Good bless you with that music and those musicians.
