Great idea, though! I'm not sure if it's legal anywhere now, though. They've been getting pretty sensitive about coverings for license plates. I guess somebody found one that worked. ;D

Just as a WARNING...My Friend is Paying a $200 Fine for having a CLEAR cover on her vehicle. In Delaware as most states it is illegal to cover the license plate with anything,,,Even if its clear! She was asked what it is and answered a CLEAR license plate cover...the Trooper, then said its illegal to cover a plate,,,The trooper is right!

@Stretchn91 OK, so when you get a red light ticket for turning right on red because your front tire touches the white line even though you stopped maybe you will think different. Plus many other scenarios like getting stuck in an intersection while trying to turn left and cars keep coming. It's legal but you still get a ticket. Not everything is black or white, we have to protect ourselves from this criminal government.

@ReedAndrewSutherland yes they are....there is so many states where you need front license plates. I'm positive that either you don't drive or that your state just doesn't require people to have front plates.

@rwny62882 of course it isn't legal. That's the whole point to hide you plate number so you don't get tickets for speeding and aggressive driving. But this isn't very good cause the people behind and in front of you can still see your plate numbers. I've seen one that can hide the entire thing at a push of a button and reveal it again.
