Lol, you dont get it do you? You must use the orange portal on the beginning, you dont have both portals, once it does that, you get to the other spawn for a orange portal before it appears, which means

1. You dont have both portals, that orange portal cant stay the same or the second part would be impossible...
2.There are checkpoints, since you didnt touch the ground inside the door, it didnt spawn untill you landed on the ground.

ha cool!!! yeah i messed up on the first elevator, i had put sv_cheats 1, impulse 101, and i made it impossible to go on cuz i made a orange one, i wanted to see if i was right to believe that that other vid "the REAL ending to portal" was not gmod, i kinda knew it but it was my first time messing with portal, i have intel integrated gfx so yeah it took me awhile to find the console commands to make it decent,weird though, theres a sticky on steam support, ha found it after i defragged :(

you describe this as video editing. you apparently had 2 videos to make this. there are many loopholes you didn`t manage to edit so i`ll put them here.
at 0:04 , he didn`t shoot the orange portal. he also didn`t shoot the one at 0:19. the 1st orange portal that he "shot" becomes blue, but do you notice at 0:24 there are orange auras/plasma floating around the blue portal hole. compare it with the others, its different.
Um...you do know that you don't have the Orange portal yet at this point in the game? GLaDOS shoots them for you. When you get to a new area during this part in the game, the old one dissapers and a new one appeares.

It's not strange at all when you think about it.. The game only has control of the orange portal at this point so they couldn't make either of them blue while you were trying to pass it.. So they just either turn the old portal off or switch the color.
