go to start then go to cmd an type in ipconfig and then you see IPv4-Adress en behind that you see your ip-adress

you have to be admin.

the syntax error either means that u mispelled something or you or the other person has a firewall activated... normally tho.. when u get the message Unable to send... that means they have the firewall on or there comp is off... so u probably put the wrong ip or mispelled one of the key things.
