Unless this is based in the cold war, wouldn't it make more sense to use the m109A6? It has some key aesthetic and functionality differences from the old M109 from the 70's.

@Shadow7988 It's a relatively old model, we're aware of it, as well as some inaccuracies (the barrel has been solved by now), but we simply have other priorities right now.

@MonkeySoldierNL Ah, that's great. I was a 13B in the Army and spent some time crewing a Paladin, so I'm just understandably anal about the detail. You guys are doing an awesome job, though! It's pretty cool to see some of the stuff I worked with in the real world finally reflected on in CoH, even in older models.

@MonkeySoldierNL I was on a paladin crew for a year............that is not a paladin. Do some research before you open your mouth.

@cjcustomcreations I happen to do my research, and no it's not a NLOS-C (Non Line Of Sight Cannon) it is in fact a M109. I have no idea why you confuse it with the NLOS-C from the FCS programme, which always remained in it's X (experimental) state. If you're purely basing that upon the size of the barrel, which is scheduled to be made smaller, I really wonder if you looked closely at the other details. It has a completely different chassis and turret.

take it from someone who has worked by this machine before. the barrel needs to be slightly thinner and the raising up and down of the barrel is to fast.

@Evilstewie831 The raising of the barrel is something we aren't after portraying it accurately, it will go as fast as we think is best for balance. The barrel will be made thinner though.

i dont like the way the armor looks. but game play looks good. not trying to down it becuse i know this is hard work. just relic made the light and med and heavy armor look real. this just looks daul

@DEADLYDEP I wouldn't judge it too fast, I've seen it myself in-game, and I personally think that it looks great. Don't forget that things like pc settings and map lighting/ atmosphere have a big influence on it. ;)

If you're looking for a critique, the scale looks a bit off. I think the real one only has 7 roadwheels. The chassis looks too long and the gun tube's diameter looks on the large side.

Yes only 7 wheels, but CoH suspension system does not work well with an odd number of wheels so I upped the wheel count so there would not be empty space so you could see no axle connectors and so suspension flows smoothly
