Cuz she's smart and she used it to break apart to free her leg and arm from a rock underneath the car when the water was gushing in. Also he knew that if anyone would drive by, they would see a flicker of light past their car and would investigate and find her. Dead or alive. But she's alive in the end =] Yay!

im a huge fan of CSI, but i dont follow it as closely as id like to. its hit-and-miss for me. i saw a series of episodes (or maybe it was one?) involving an older, bald man who made minatures. i remember one guy was electrocuted in a slaughter-house or something. but i thought the killer was a guy. then i see this, and its a girl. am i confused, or are they related?

yeah they are all related, it was his daughter doing it, he shot himself as they thought he did it and it would cover up for his daughter, she promised not to do anymore of the mintures, but she did, and it then ends with her kidnapping sara and leaving a miniture grissom, they have the daughter in custody but all they haver to go on to find is the miniture of her under a car in the dessert
