Henry: fantastic slide show! So many of the scenes look similar to the trip you led us on last week. You did a fantastic job in leading our group. Sean had the time of his life, and so did I. Thank you so much! Best wishes in the upcoming semester at school.

Our Explorer group came here twice and went into the Quetico.Having done Philmont 3x,the Quetico trips were far more extreme. Both places are beautiful, but in Canada we went days without seeing another group. It was easy to imagine what it was like on earth hundreds of years ago. Also,a little scary at times. If something were to go wrong, its not like there is a staffed base camp nearby. Its been over 20 years since I was in the Quetico or Philmont,I wish I could do it all over again.
Excellent. Thank you so much. I'll have to tell them that you all had fun. We're trying to get this summer and next figured out (a bit late, I know). As for muddy, wet and smelly, most of the ones who aren't interested in the outdoors won't sign up.
Our Venture Crew is interested in going to Northern Tier (although we have girls who are going to have problems with the outdoors). Would you recommend it?
Definetely, If the girls are tough and don't mind getting muddy, wet, and smelly. It also depends on how many miles you do, we did 100+. It is the best of the high adventure bases.
