I am not a fan of rap music but I try to be tolerant do you even hear what the lyrics of this song say? All the "differences" between everyone are not really valid deep inside we are all same. IMO the powerful people who control the media made things like disgusting rap music and bigot music to keep the poor people in this country at each others throats. If we weren't fighting each we would realize how bad the rich fuck us and we may revolt so the people who control media release false images.

Strictly speaking, I think rap has more of a basis in reggae than it does rock and roll.

Personally, strictly speaking I think there's a lot of soulless rock, just like there's a lot of soulless rap. I just happen to think that there's a lot more rock with soul than rap.

And personally, I'd add The Eagles, The Police, and Journey to that list at the very least. There are a lot of great classic and progressive rock bands out there that have yet to be equaled.

This song takes me back to a 20 year old kid who just moved out with 2 buddies and we rented a 4 bedroom house and had huge parties on the weekend listening to Styx, Foreigner, Boston, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, etc. Great nostalgic flashback thanks.
