  • what type of throttle body spacer do you use? i have one on my 2000 GTP (its a Helix Power Tower) and it gets really hot! i'm thinking it hurts more than it helps.

  • @bishopneil12 well you have 240 stock so this package might get you up to 290ish.not bad.

  • Is there a shift kit for the stock tranny I can only find them for the racing tranny anyone know of a site

  • hello, well i want to start to put some mods to my car, is a Grand Prix GTP 2005 and i want to know what would be the best thing to start with oh and want to downsize my pulley... so a CAI, full exhaust, or what would be the best option, i really need help THANKS!

  • I have a 98 GTP and I started out just like you. The first thing to do would be an intake or downpipe. IF and only if you have the money get some headers. I have just a downpipe on mine and it made a huge difference. Do a u-bend delete as well. After that you can do an intake and a colder t-stat. I have a 180* but you can also do a 160*. then you can think about downsizing your pulley

  • well i already have an intake that i made, FWI to b exact, nd about downpipe. how much would it cost me? about u-bend, in 04-06 they dnt have that, nd wuts the difference between the t-stat 180 and 160? wut would you recomend me? n how much? im asking this cuz im a new guy in modin a car, nd got no idea lolz... nd thanx

  • Downpipes can range anywhere from like 125 to like 235 bucks depending on where you get them from and if it is catless or has a high flow cat in it; The tstat is what tells the motor when to send the coolant through. a 180 sends it at 180 etc. I would recomend that becuase sometimes the 160 can mess with your computer; its only about 15 bucks all said and done.

  • @GT5Player Best thing to start with is a Bigger downpipe with no U-bend, and a Fender well intake. These cut the most knock for a pully drop. Colder plugs and a cooler Thermostat will also help. after that, you should be able to safely drop 1 pulley size. If you don't have any KR, you will get about 30 horses from all this and it will only cost about $250

  • OoOoo I like that double down shift near the end, all thanks to that tuned pcm, and the sound of the exhaust while decelerating sounds nice too.

  • most likely if ur ABS light is on its cuz of a bad wheel bearing.

  • CeeStyleDj in 2001 pontiac got rid of the performance shift option, whitch increases line preasure. You can get an aftermarket, or earlier model shift knob with the performance shift button, to get the performance shift mode.

  • I love how when you punch the 3800 it takes a sec,to like,catch up to itself.Those 3800 cars are all fast.

  • on those gp the abs and traction control sensors are made in with the wheel bearing, if you hearing a ruff noise and ya abs and trac light is on its prob a wheel bearing going bad...

  • I see your GTP has its ABS light on too. Mine has the ABS light on and Check Tire Press light on too :|

    No idea how to find out which wheel has a bad sensor :|

  • can the tranny clutches take that kind of shifting?? thats some pretty firm shifts

  • it prolongs clutch life when u have shorter shifts cuz that means that the clutches arent being used as much
