  • love this track, saw, the band back in the day

    Yuan -great comment

    leader of bands

  • This is the sound of uneasy happiness. The aching guitars; the anxious chord changes. 'French Film Blurred' is, for me, their most delicate piece. It's a perfect balancing of the fickle moods of one stricken with anxiety. Whenever I listen, I can't help but feel a man in private struggle with himself. 0:56 - 1:27 is one last lunge for peace of mind. Then there is the mocking repeat of the opening notes. At 1:37, he is broken. The downward spiral and the inevitable suicide concludes.

  • HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WIRE

  • Put this with Practice Makes Perfect, Sand In my Joints, and Another the Letter..... what an album. Chairs Missing.

  • fuck you one disliker

  • @jimimarley13 he had sand in his ears.

  • "a second language, a second language",

  • two Spoon songs sound a lot like this: Lines In The Suit and (less Something To Look Forward To). I always had the Wire-Spoon relationship in mind, but couldn't quite find perfect examples. This is it.

  • This has space, isolation, desolateness, slight Enoness, sounds like he recorded the vocals inside an elevator and the rest of them recorded in a cave.Even "Can" would be proud of this,in my top 1000.

  • in my top 20 - other faves are lion tamer and fragile -

    so-called alt/indy music today can't even compare

  • one of my all-time favorite tunes - it could be the soundtrack to me life - the so-called indy shite you hear today can't even compare, never will.

  • Always loved this track

  • Also one of my personal favorites from Wire. I always loved that they wouldn't stick to one sound, every track on the albums would be differently flavored.

  • Definitely agreed! I think this is one of their most interesting sounds
