I love the Flobots nobody can say they aren't good...sadly the rare music that is sweet to our ears like the kind the Flobots make is widely unknown...even though it's alot better the the trash the majority listens to today
@daculiest , there really are quite a few bands that make intelligent points and show concern, unfortunately they just aren't nearly as popular as the shit the majority listens to these days.
The only thing I think he has in common with Eminem is that he is white and he raps.. His message is different and so is his flow. Who cares about that stuff anyways.. Good is good. And besides There isn't enough positiveness in the world. Let the people who are positive do there thang.. ya dig..
I agree with mercsan117, bloodeleves is just a dumb republican, but they don't suck live its just the crapy recoding quality of the cell phone or some midget cam corder.
It's relevant at least. IT has meaning other then complaining, it tells people to work together to fix the issues with our country. You would have to be pretty ignorant, deaf, and blind to miss whats going on.
To you. No song is universally important. Some are universally impotent, but none speak to all.
Personally, while I like a lof of Flobots, this one, while lyrically compelling, is musically boring and makes me think of the machine they fight against, rather than the cornucopia of diversity they compel us to. It's an unfortunate mismatch that makes me wish this message was better told.
This is my favorite song on the album. The one thing that I can't figure out is if the chorus is "we rise together" or "together we rise" It doesn't matter, but if you listen you can hear how it can be either.
Eh, It's great. But Idk if it's their most important. They are all important to their own extent. I love every song from the CD, hell... Even the intro, love it.
