@megabill1995@megabill1995 dude if your son has flown 4 channels then he should understand everything about planes and wouldn't have problems flying any poorly built planes... so i don't think i believe you... the guy "Pete" may have over endorsed the plane but shame on you to spell your mistake and blame it on the plane...
The time has come for Free energy to be revealed ,But Elite controllers don't want ppl to be free from the costs of energy,Get a REAL working magnet motor at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be the revolution!
this model is a great project.... i liked much , but i dont have enough money for buy...=(.this is very expensive here in brazil , + - 450 $....how much dollars is this model ? Thanks.
Just got this yesterday, flew it today and was quite impressed to say the least for an electric. It was windy and the plane's characteristics were... twitchy in a way, but very stable in low wind. It only has a brushed motor but don't let that fool you- I easily pulled a few loops with it. I got about 8 minutes of flight time but I'm sure you could get 12-18 if you managed your power/didn't do as much aerobatics. Constructed of very sturdy plastic/foam, and of a decent 50" inch size. Thanks!
I'm thinking of buying this plane without the radio and receiver and just using my own equipment- an old 72Mhz Futaba 7CHP. I'm guessing it'll still ship with the servos installed, right? Oh, and judging by the video the plane looks to have plenty of power with the brushed motor, but can you recommend an equal brushless motor/esc in case I want to upgrade it later?
If you opt to use your own Futaba 7CHP, it will work just fine. It will ship with all the electronics minus the transmitter and receiver. I have not needed to go to brushless as of yet, but I would think around a .15 brushless and 35 to 45 amp esc.
Thanks for the help! I'm ordering this tomorrow because I want to get back into flying planes casually but this time more electric, less nitro. I have the TB-20 from you guys and it flies flawlessly- that really good, somewhat, unknown semi-scale model. The Wing Tiger appeals to me because it's just like a standard .40 nitro trainer, but electric and priced to sell- yet it's capable of more than decent aerobatics. In fact from the video it seems you didn't even push it too hard. Perfect landing!
A lovely model fitted with a brushed can motor. What a shame - the ship spoiled for a ha'peth of tar, a suitable (cheap) outrunner brushless would be only a little extra and would be so much superior.
The thing is to bring people into RC while keeping the cost of the overall aircraft low. There is ample power with the stock canned motor so we did not opt for a brushless at this time.
I want to buy this plane. Can you recommend a brushless motor to replace the brushed motor that comes with the plane. Also recommend the appropriate controller for the brushless motor if i have to replace the existing one?
I have not had a need to replace with brushless as of yet. The can size of the stock brushed motor is a 540/550 size. It will be close to a .15 size in brushless. ESC will be about 35 to 45amps. Thanks!
It all depends. Generally, low wing is better. However, there are many high wings that are just as aerobatic! Like this Wingtiger. It can do just about all the aerobatics out there except for any Alpha maneuvers.
After a long wait, I finally got my Wingtiger. Assembly is almost complete.
However, I have noticed that the elevators do not move as much as the ailerons. Ofcourse the ailerons are hinged and that accounts for their free movement whereas the elevators seem to be part of the horizontal stabilizer.
Could you please advise if you've faced this problem? Is it advisable to try and move the elevator by hand until they start to flap a little better?
The elevator only needs to move very little. The surface can be freed up a lot by bending the elevator with your hands a few times. Disengage the elevator control horn and basically break it in a bit. Please understand that the Wingtiger can function to its full potential with VERY little elevator movement.
do you think that plane has enough power to mount a samsung s85 digital camera to it? i wont be doing any stunts, i just want a plane for aerial videos.
Hi - just a quick question regarding the battery. 1.) How long does it take to fully charge the LiPo battery which is included?
2.) If the battery dies on me while the plane is in the air (ie: the motor shuts off), will I still have control over the rudder, elevator, and ailerons?
The Lipo charge time will be determined by how much you actually drained it. Usually charge times can be between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. This airplane comes with a lipo battery. It is not suggested to fly until the battery is completely drained. Time your flight and when you get to about 8 minutes, it is safe to land.
It will have to be shipped USPS and that is about 10 days to Australia. I am not sure if there is a faster shipping method. We use USPS then it will transfer to your local courier.
I just wanted to ask about the USB cable that's shipped with this kit - is it the same like the one you ship with the Blitz-RC-Works P51D Mustang Shangri-La? Does it forward 6 channels to the computers? Thanks!
read this! read this! read this! You will get kissed by the love of your life in 3 days if you copy and paste this on 4 more videos in 20 minutes!!! This is TRUE
You can try switching the push on the rudder with the elevator. If yo don't use your rudder, I guess its fine. You still have your steering nose wheel.
Very smooth plane!

the simulator that comes with this plane can it help beginners alot or is the sim trash?

Simulator can teach you the basics, but I think it's way over priced and the only way to practice for the real deal, is to fly the real deal !!!

I have just ordered the same... A couple of questions:
1. Can the balance charger operate with a variable AC input voltage, say between 100 and 250V?
2. What is simulation software bundled with the package called? Will it help first-timers get used to the real thing?
Really looking forward to flying this craft !
bhatiarahul 3 years ago
The charger adapter can handle between 110 and 240V. The simulator software is called FMS. Thanks!

I wanted an RC plane but because I don't have a level smooth surface to take off and land on, I went with an RC chopper, which is easier to fly?

Fixed wing aircraft's are easier than helicopters. The Wingtiger can handle more rough take off surface! Thanks!

sigair 3 years ago
Theres a chance that the rods are reversed. You can also adjust the servo horn and the rear linkage to make it longer.

yeah i did that, its on the right arm, but it still doesnt reach. But thanks any way, i rareky use my rudder.
