It is a role reversal in which the humans are the animals and hunted and killed for their skins. This ad has a bit of irony to it, doesn't it? Now then know what it's like to be hunted for your skin.

Wow, I see this when I was 12 in the UK on a show called clive james on tv. Ive looked for it everywhere and found it. The music is a score in Dawn of the dead,by the italian band Goblin. I studied media and at uni and tried to write about this add but I couldnt find it. Thanks for putting it on.

Actually I was looking this up - apparently there was a genuine anti-fur commercial in 1982, which SNL then did a PARODY of. The closing shot of SNL I found is different from this, but this could be the parody w/o the audience laughter (why else would NBC be sponsoring this?)

Reminds me of Kids In The Hall, when they had French "business-suit trappers" doing the same to city businessmen!

I agree, fur is unnecessary to wear, even at wintertime. There are synthetic and other types of organic materials that trap heat better than fur.

Not to mention, fur is expensive, hard to clean, and bulky.

This is one of the few uses for animals that I am against. That and testing cosmetics on animals, and for fighting each other.
