When your tanks are just 'hull crushed' you can still fix them, also when you destroy a turret on a tank, it means the machine gun, the actual big gun on the tank is the 'main gun' I think you should of manually controlled your tanks, you can be more acurate and navigate faster.

No not really the nickname is for the Parachute regiment of the Brits. Im not an expert in Canadian military history so they may well call their paras the same but thats where the term originated

This is world war two, it wasn't the Parachute regiment as such, due to the sheer amount of paratroopers needed, whole airbourne divisions were formed, this is where the parachute regiment does originate from though.

Not neccecarily. Remember this is the British Army. A Regiment is not always a component of a Division (broken into Brigades or "tactical regiment") and can be the overall administrative unit covering multiple divisions (same for commonwealth).

For the Red Devils, the regiment was the overall unit (even now the regiment is the airborne component) while divisions can be its components if needed. For Arnhem, it was the 1st para division.

this game can play up to 8 v 8 but i think that he did 1 v 1 because there wont be any lag problems but u can do 1 v 1 2 v 2 3v3 4v4 5v5 6v6 7v7 8v8

i recommend using red tide as it will boost your tactics a lot before purchasing men of war so u can play mp ;P aye but should i purchase men of war or just keep downloading it like i am atm, at 50%, i've been DLing for like...20hrs O.o so lazy seeders gah...i'll find a crack ez, patch too....my friend can probably grab a working serial from his ''sources'' i have no clue whatsoever where he gets them ;P

Sean Connery Did not command commandos he commanded Paratroopers in the movie, they just wear the same berets as the commandos

Army Commandos were used to form the nucleus of 1st Airborne Division, and hence, the Parachute Regiment. Adopting the maroon beret. The remaining commandos became part of the Royal Navy, eventually combining with the Royal Marines to become the Royal Marine Commandos of today, with the Commando Green beret. Most games neglect this and just call Paras commandos, though calling a para in real life something related to the RM will get you a smack. The berets are different, one is a cabbage hat.

empire total war is a very good game but it a bit too big and it might be a bit slow at some times but if you have a upgraded pc go ahead its very good and midevil is not that great a bit to hard but i recomend you geting empire total war

UK are my fav faction in this game, I love the firefly, has an awsome gun, altho its armor is weaker then the churchill, its still a fun tank to use, especialy when working with a Centurion or an Achilles XD

all i said was UK are my favorite faction, and i think their firefly is much funner then any german tanks, because its pretty fast and can be used to flank fast. I dont like the germans, i prefer to UK, Fast tanks with decent armor, and powerful guns are fun to use, especially when working with 2, 6, and 17 pdr field art

Dude, this is the Airport map. NOBODY has airplanes by default. But on this map, there are airplanes on the airfield (because it's an airfield). This airfield has P-51's on it. It doesn't matter if you're Japanese, American, German or Soviet...if you put your people inside the P-51, then you will control the P-51 REGARDLESS of what faction you're using.

I bought the game myself, infantry battles are loads of fun. Tank Battles are terribly frustrating. I kept having my tanks being too weak to penetrate the armor of my opponents and getting destroyed easilly, so one time i bought a tiger tank only to have it destroyed by a really small tank.

Company of Heroes is a fun Real Time Strategy game. But it's not realistic on any level.

I love both games, but they're very different. Men of War focuses on the tactics of battle. Also, the theme is World War II.

After playing Men of War, it would be strange to play Rome Total War again because of how simplistic the game is. There's much more depth in Men of War.
