@kingtwenty20 i like bas for his respect but most of all the fact that he joined a grappling organization purely as a striker hence most of his fights were off his back but he also won most of his fights which makes him my all time #1 fav. fighter! i just wish his body wasn't all fucked up i would really love to see him redeem himself for his two ken shamrock fights!
bas is great because alot of his techniques arent 'strictly' anything and also alot of hs techniques negate bjj and muai thai methods through sheer practicality

There is no fighter who I enjoy watching more than Bas. If he had 1,000 fights, i would watch them all. Though I practice BJJ, Bas has taught me so much over the years; and still does. He is likely the most creative fighter I have ever studied. As always, thanks again to Bas (and the person who posted the video) for another lesson in excellence!

It is called Pancrase. It is a combination of many things. One of the main rules is NO CLOSED FIST STRIKES. They can use kicks and open hand strikes.

There is no fighter who I enjoy watching more than Bas. If he had 1,000 fights, i would watch them all. Though I practice BJJ, Bas has taught me so much over the years; and still does. He is likely the most creative fighter I have ever studied. As always, thanks again to Bas (and the person who posted the video) for another lesson in excellence!

Rickson never faced top guys in MMA. His days were more of the style vs style type matches. He's a legend in Jits though.

I think Bas is the greatest and I'm an American. Why would you hate Americans? Keep that Nazi racism to your self. America is a country of all nationalities and races, including those from The Netherlands. That is our strength. If you don't like the policies of our government, that is a different story.
