Nystrom was suspended for this and I think Arbour was fined. It started because a Devils fan threw Beer on Arbour, Nystrom then flipped out and started to pummel the guy.
How thrilling. You had a few punches thrown by Bridgman and Kerr, and a lot of couples dancing. The idiot announcer seems to believe that the referee cannot give penalties because the game is over. They aren't going to call holding, but fighting and misconducts can be given to anyone the ref sees fit to give them to.
this is when hockey has passion, get rid of VRS. espn and all the football and basketball fans that are trying to change hockey, and then we will have passion again
I can't believe that Billy Smith didn't fight at all! It was weird to see him talking to the Devil's goalie like they were buddies!

This is the same announcer that called the famed Quebec/Montreal brawl.
Also, brawls are never that good when they start at the end of a period. Half the intrigue of it all is what during the game got them off the bench.
