bro you make getting bak into your wheelchair look so hard. im a T3/T4 paraplegic with 10 screws in my spine and i can get back in my wheelchair quicker and easier.. you need a different technique.. but your doing pretty good bud atleast your determined.
@laxxmann4610 its not that weird i was born with spina bifida i was never able to walk i think being able to walk would be cool but kinda weird for me its pretty much what your used to
'liked' because i also have spina bifida and thats exactly how i feel, never been able to walk and honestly dont want to, i think if i got out of bed tomorrow and stood up it would be as much of a shock to me as someone who can stand falling flat on their face. it is about what youre used to.
good job man. after all these years im still practicing floor to wheelchair moves. im a t3.. its a good work out but hardwork..thanks for the inspiration.
Great vid. I am unable to do that because my chair is much higher than this one & im a C5. I also need to lose a good bit of stomach fat as well lol. Congrats tho
This vid is very moving. i feel terrible that I am capable of such luxuries as moving freely, as I havent accomplished much with my life, by most standard
It's definitely a task doing that especially if you have a Roho cushion that will try to fold up as you're trying to turn back into the chair on the way up. Good job.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I'm a C 5-6 quad. Would be great if you could share with us on our social network. google "pushrim" you will see "life after injury". Take care :)
Well, THAT was a minor revelation! I'm not sure I would ever have thought to try it that way, but I will now. Doing it like that, I could probably use what leg function I have (I have MD) to compensate for my weak upper body, making getting back into the chair by myself an actual possibility!
Hey, I tried it, total success! It's not easy and it's tiring, but I can do it. Which makes me much more confident about going out on my own or simply practising wheelies, knowing I can get back in the chair by myself if I need to. Thanks so much for posting this!
Good ... Great job .. Go ahead

I am fused T8-L5 and can only just do this. If it was any higher than that, I don't think you'd be able to.

I have 2 rods in my back. My back can't bend the way yours can, Any suggestions for that?

I also have 2 rods in my back, T7-10. How much flexibility do you have?

Do you have a lot of spasticity?
RGAF1987 1 year ago
ya, its alright to deal with, the spasticity keeps most of my leg muscles toned

Whiteboymdew - I'd guess he was a level T5 to L1 - somewhere in that range.
What amazing upper body strength! There's no way I'd be able to do that! Well done
