I am a strong believer that SE favors Sandy.. when it comes to the music on the game Sandy gets the best.. Ronfaure gets all the best music in past and present times.. and the town music is pretty good too!

i don't know that they favor sandy, as opposed to making the zones of each area reflect the 'personality' of each. sandy is triumphant, bastok is strong/driving, and windy is fun/whimsical. every other zone in the game is the same way. the music matches the background story. se did a great job with this imo.

oh come on, the sandy music is far and away best, never mind that ronfaure was the only nobuo tune. ^^ the music for both windurst [s] zones, and bastok [s] too, are stunning, though, because mizuta has come into his own compositionally.

This is just as good, if not better then the original. I love piano, and this sounds absolutely beautiful on it. I'm part of sandy, and love hearing this theme in the past. best one imo of the past town themes.
