Hi poetess, thanks for posting that. Your dad sounds like a really great guy. He is of course right; spending loads of time with your kids is a fantastic experience. I had so much fun with my son Chris, painting, feeding the ducks, kite flying and all the myriad of things we did together.
I think your dad may be a bit of a rebel, what with the long hair and choosing to stay at home to look after the kids. I hope deep down you're a rebel too. It's more fun.
Truly, truly great guy. Here's a tough question for you, Stef: was it hard for you to accept that, at first, since you didn't have the same "dad" as a child?
I definitely would say that it was. He and I spent several months on the phone before we were able to see each other when he reemerged after four years of being silent and, though I had dealt with being angry and all of that in the couple of years prior, I did have to spend a lot of thought and the like dealing with the idea of him being such a devoted father to Max.
I even dealt with a little bit of jealousy in a very childlike way for a while. I still do from time to time when it comes to the brother close to my age now that he's back in the picture. Sorted through a few of those latent feelings even this trip.

This video is not boring but it shows that he is a loving parent. And if this is his second chance to be a dad again. GOOD LOOK with it
Bye

I've noticed lately when I jog I see men with baby carriages more often than I used to.

Ha ha ha ha! Your dad's great. I read an article on time magazine a few years back on stay at home dads. Nice one :-)
