  • @elbigjim Sound is great - ive watched the launch Titusville and .. good view but no sound .. ok, a very silent rumble but not that much!

    Greetz from Germany!

  • @ginda79 thanks! Great to hear from way over in Germany.

  • @elbigjim - we hat 2+1 great Weeks in Florida. The (+1) Week was an unexpected Present from Eyjafjallajökull. Ok, Present my be the wrong Word bec we have to pay the Motel by ourself. But now i can tell 2 Stories: 1 about the Shuttle and 1 about the canceled Flight ;)

  • We didn't see it this close, but we were in Titusville for the launch, and it was still awesome

  • That's sick. I have a video of it from about 25 minutes south of Jacksonville. If anyone can tell me what the strange blue gas is or the weird vapor trail thing i caught on tape is it would be very much appreciated. The blue gas stuff is at about the 3:55min mark in the video. I'm not trying to get a lot of views on the video, I just want some answers. Thanks and God Bless.

  • @onslaught42 its the reflection of the sunrise in the space shuttle vapor trails... we saw it over here for hours. There are some folks who caught that on video also. Some called it Dragon Heart of Rocket Plume. check it out.

  • @elbigjim Thanks a lot for the help. Going to check it out now. lol at the Car alarms.

  • I saw it go from my backyard when i was on vacation such a great sight i reccommend watching it in person if u havent seen.

  • DANG!!! GOOD MORNING!!!

    LMFAO!! LMFAO!!!

Oh you lucky bum!! LOLOL!! Awesome! Just awesome!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • elbigjim check out my video

  • I was lucky enough to be at this launch - although 10 miles away. An experience I will never forget. I love your video the most of any I've seen.

  • @scakat2 thank you.

  • To all you lucky people who have been present at a launch I say value the experience denied people like me who aren't of the USA.

At 7 years old I had a tie with planets and rockets on it. I am now 59 and astounded at the progress made.

I wish I could have been there to feel my chest vibrate to the power.

This is the most awesome (and expensive :-) culmination of humanity's ability, yet most people are heedless.
