The one thing what I hope for is for the world to overcome their greediness and materialistic desires and to start living for Jesus, IMO Jesus Christ deserves much more love and recognition than all of the famous celebrities put together, imagine what the world would be like if Jesus Christ is getting more love and recognition than all of the famous celebrities put together?
I have been singing this song for weeks now, I love this video and it is a WOW moment.. We need this on a evening shows for our children and Grandchildren and everyone else.. Thank you for sharing this it Was Amazing
Things, riches, property, position and being sin bound, cannot and will not replace the superiority of Jesus Christ the Lord my Savior and the promise of Heaven.
For anyone who desires a biblical understanding of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.
Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I pray you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. If you don't want the promises of prosperity in this life and eternal life in the life to come....I'll take yours. THANKS!!! and Jesus too.
@gryphon1114 There is a balance, it is true. Proverbs says that a wise man will have riches laid up in his house, but it also devotes several verses in that same passage (which I don't consider to be coincidence) to extolling the virtues of generosity. The key, then, is that our lives in every regard be flow-through accounts. We ought to give as Jesus gave, without reservation or asking for return,
I have been struggling with finances. God is providing for me. I have gained my treasure in Heaven. I pity the GREEDY people on this earth. Greed doesn't get you to Heaven. Jesus paid my way and not the money of this world. Greedy people want more and more. Why do you think that our world is in trouble? Nothing compares to the riches of Heaven. My treasures are laid up for me there.

tears man nothing but tears my heart hurts when i hear this and the iimages you put in this video brings it home thank you for your contribution to save the lost wow brother i love you in the love that christ jesus has given me
Case in point: Sodom and Gomorrah. another one is Egypt. Read your bible more and know that God will take care of business when it is needed. He allowed the two bombs to be dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He also allowed 9-11. If he doesn't deal with the bullies of the world, then he is not a just God.
YES agree with others this video and song are awesome tks for the effort and putting it for us to enjoy. What a ministry you have. I have always loved Dallas awesome songs
"the eye of a needle" was a common name in the time of Jesus describing a "hair pin" turn in the mountains. It describes a tight and awkward turn that one was forced to come down off his camel and lead it through himself. I believe what Jesus was saying was that it is very difficult for a rich person to come to him because it is easy to become comfortable in earthly riches. The more comfortable you are on your camel the more likely you are to simply "go a different path"...just my 2 cents.
I agree totally. Jesus said the LOVE of money was the root of all evil. You can be poor and still love money. Being rich is a stumbling block but it is a different problem altogether. As you point out, dont serve it, make it work to your benefit and move on.
Many people become poor BECAUSE they love money. In fact any man hwo loves money more than God is poor indeed. having enough cash does beat poverty though
@sparwood8 When Moses took the people out of Egypt they left carrying all the gold and silver they could carry, doesn't sound like God wants his people to be poor after all. I believe that money makes good people better, and bad people worse. The trouble right now is that the wrong people have the money. But God is putting it back into the hands of those that will be good shepherds of it.
@AMERICANCATTER or God could have been stickiing it to the Egyptians. Preach that prosperity message to them in Red china who are the underground church. Or to them in the Yucatan Penninsula, who have just enough to eat, and are thankful for the lcothes on their back. OBTW, they love the Lord with their whole heart; unlike lukewarm America to some, he gives the ability to create wealth, to others the ability to win souls, to others, etc...
@sparwood8 Amen your comments are right on target!! Prosperity and lukewarmness go together! I HAVE LIVED IN 3RD WORLD COUNTRIES and many christians are much more serious and committed to the Lord and they are more content and not materialistic. Not 1 of the apostles lived the so-called 'health and wealth gospel'.

Have you listened to the words of "It's Time" by Dallas? Awesome song, he is so gifted fir the Lord.
Rm11:1-2a)I say then,Hath God cast away his people?God forbid. For I also am an Israelite,of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.
:11-12)I say then,Have they stumbled that they should fall?God forbid:but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
Oh wow, the Scripture about...seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness... just came to mind.
(although I think this means spiritually we have to wait upon the Lord and be clothed with His righteousness, eat His flesh, drink His blood- which if you remember the passover/last supper{1Cor11:24-25}, certain elements were explained- bread {Jn6:33} = body broken for you ; cup is new testament/covenant in His blood )
God meets my needs plain and simple because i follow Jesus.I need no steps, plan or formula in order to get riches.Godliness with contentment is great....yes great gain.Heb.chp.13 says..be content with what you have.Where are the Content Preaches?Lets end our civil debate for the time being and make room for oyhers to comment.Peace my friend.I once preached in Wytheville back in 1983.
All warnings about money concern riches and the dangers of them.Jesus warned the rich not the poor. The apostles were not rich but were godly. The prosperity preaches are rich but not godly. They preach a rich false Jesus of their own making. You can take this whole world but give me the real Jesus.
p.s. Listen to the song... Jesus should be our first love above all things. Prosperity preachers teach us to set our affections on the things of this world.
Proverbs 30:8 - 9 "Remove falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food allotted to me lest I be full and deny You, and say "who is the Lord?" or lest I be poor and steal, and profane the Name of my God."
1 Tim 6:8 "And having food and clothing with these we shall be content. vs 9 Those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful lusts and drown men in destrustion and perdition."
1Ti6:10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Do you remember that Jacob was given some wealth? He crossed over the Jordan with only a staff and returned as two bands. Examine James 1:9-11 (KJV) and a contrast is pointed out of a humble brother and a richman. One is exalted (hupsos) and the other is abased (tapeinosis). Compare this with Lk.18:14
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.7Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.9As it is written:
The publican in Lk.18:14 went to his house justified. The just shall live by faith (Hab.2:4,Rm.1:17) and the humble shall be exaulted. Remember the characteristic of the Pharisee was self righteousness (Rm.10:1-4). The publican smote his breast (showing godly sorrow) and seems to be like of the parable in Mt.21:28-32. Also in Mt.5:3 (poor in spirit) the word "poor" is from the Greek word "ptochos" which is also traslated "beggar". This describes the attitude of prayer for the publican (broken).
See what the spiritual meaning of the Scriptures are. Christ spoke in parables (Mt.13:34-35; Mk.4:33-34). Examine the parable of the sower from Lk8, Mk4, Mt13.
Mk.4:13And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable?and how then will ye know all parables?
Pro 2:3-5Yea,if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,and find the knowledge of God.
It seems therefore, that according to the comparrisons of these various Scriptures, that riches points to self righteousness, and we as Christians know that we must depend upon Christ's righteousness for our white robes. This covering of Christ is provided by the grace of God. Praise His name. Prov.11:4 compare to Rm.1:16-17; Rm.3:19-28; Phil.3:9 faith of Christ...righteousness of God (KJV)
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Have you read these verses from the KJV ? You can examine it at blueletterBible (dot-org)
They have various translations to choose from and even have lexicons, and the Textus Receptus (which is the Greek the KJV was translated from). I hope you will be enriched spiritually from the wisdom of God. Thank you for sharing.
BTW, the parable of the sower does speak about the deceitfulness of riches, so if that concept of what I was going over before from James1:9-11 might not fit in that same way in the parable of the sower, but may from that parable be pointing to a hindrance to taking up our cross and following Christ. This might be of the implication from 1Tim.6:10.
Dallas Holm really exalts Jesus as being number one in his own life. This song shows that Jesus is more important than all the riches of this world. Only Jesus can fill that empty place in our hearts. 5 stars!
Awesome. Thank you Jesus for being my Lord. Thank you for being my rock. Thank you for all you do everyday in my life. Thank you aflame4God for posting this. May God richly bless you. Jim
I agree 100% with the song. I live day by day and every thing that I do, I do in His will. He gives me my needs not my wants. and I have Yesu Christ in all the things I do. I'd rather have Christ then all the riches of the world. God Bless you.
Wow! That was so powerful! Awesome message delivered through such an annointed voice. Excellent job bringing this classic song to video. 5 stars*****.
tomanderson92 Thanks for the video it helps keep my priorities straight. I contend that it is okay to have things just don't let the things have you. Always and I mean always keep Jesus first.
This presentation puts all right on the line. We must chose whom we will serve. I am honored to be able to view videos such as this. It helps me to get my priorities in order. How easy it is to get caught up in the worlds views. We need to stay focused on the higher calling. tomorrow may never come, so today I must chose whom I will serve. You have been given a gift from above and I will pray for you as you continue to share the gospel with others via this outlet. Blessings!!

Praise God for His Word!

Dallas Holm really exalts Jesus as being number one in his own life. This song shows that Jesus is more important than all the riches of this world. Only Jesus can fill that empty place in our hearts. 5 stars!

Yes. All the riches of this earth pales in comparison to the surpassing knowledge of knowing Chist Jesus my Lord.

I agree 100% with the song. I live day by day and every thing that I do, I do in His will. He gives me my needs not my wants. and I have Yesu Christ in all the things I do. I'd rather have Christ then all the riches of the world. God Bless you.

tomanderson92 Thanks for the video it helps keep my priorities straight.

Blessings!!
