@hotsizzleakadafizz I'm not going to lie and say that The Tree of Life was awful because I really enjoyed. The Only problem with Tree of Life was that it addressed too many problems and because lost under the weight of them all and the scene with the dinosaur seemed to bring morality into the film which had no really purpose. I think that Tinker had a much more controlled script, incredible acting and didn't become lost in multiple plot lines, also Tree of Life didn't answer anything.
@MrTomVprosser With you all the way. Although I thought this was possibly the best film to have been made last year, I didn't expect it to win the Oscar...but to have not even been nominated escapes all reason. As for Oldman, for me his was clearly the finest acting performance of all the nominees (and I sincerely believe it to be one of the great cinematic performances). Being British, perhaps it came too soon after Colin Firth's win?
"Every gesture and microscopic moment" paints the paranoid picture of the world these characters live in... I'm looking forward to the extremely nuanced performances from this incredible cast!

If this film doesn't get the Oscar for best film and Oldman get best actor, I lose all faith in modern films.

@MrTomVprosser The Tree of Life is about 100% better than Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
