Saw these as support to Marillion early 90s, loved them so much.... glad to see them on here. Where are they now? Am I right in thinking Sam Brown was on backing vocals?
I got this album by accident back in the 90's and have loved it ever after. I am actually surprised to find it at all here as I have tried to search several times during the years not coming up with anything. :)
One of the many bands to reherse at Parkside, Leeds ,in the very early 90's along with Bridewell Taxis, Embrace, The Inept, Windowpanes, Very Tall Buildings, Gary Mortons Rythm Stance, BBC - managed by Des and Si
Just damn perfect! Thanx for placing these songs on YT!
This is the first time ever i find something of this band on this planet besides this album i got of them. Way back in 1990 i bought this one by curiosity and went crazy about it, but never found anyone or anything who or that could tell me some 'bout The Violet Hour.
Still, after a thousand times of enjoying the music i still play the vinyl within its bit 'o' mystical and historical atmosphere. Again: thanx!
available on cd now, I've got it
