Natural Born Killers is one of the most overrated movies ever made, one of the worst that Oliver Stone ever directed, not to mention that he completely destroyed what Tarantino wanted/his vision for this movie that had a great potential to become a masterpiece, yet in the end became a total baggage of bullshit. A Clockwork Orange and Fight Club and rightfully considered to be some of the best movies in the history of film, this is pure shit.

I really like the crazy atmosphere and message of this movie. The constant disconnected and awkward camera editing was insane. It really fit the chaos and media circus surrounding the two killers.

From my own humble opinion, I don't think QT would have made this movie better than Stone. Absolutely one of my favourite movies, Woody's best performance so far. Top acting and great scenes and a lovely message.

The movie was very dark in a sense, but it implicates what life the world is like today. Although ppl have a view on thigs of this nature as being sad, or disgusting, it was very well made. It is indeed very underrated and underappreciated as a film.

kelsmart- I agree with you. NBK is a brilliant film, and just because it deals with issues that are beyond the realms of what people are comfortable with- doesen't mean its disgusting. Personally I think NBK is a very optomistic movie, just not in a conventional sense.

Eric and Dylan where fans of the film, and yeah they did name their plan after it but it had nothing to do with why they did it.

Eric planned it, he was a sociopath and believed he was above everybody else, so that's why he did it. Dylan was depressed and already wanted to die, so he easily became a willing accomplice in the plan.

Nothing to do with NBK, just two kids with some serious mental problems and plan they happened named after a movie they really liked.
