Love the bike, but sadly a bit too expensive for a middle class kinda guy. It's about 10.000 second hand and you can buy two kawasaki ninja's for that. Also... like the BMW car, the maintenance for a bike like this is alot more expensive than any other brand becuase if something breaks, the parts are expensive.

Nice bike. The HP and torque numbers are a bit optimistic (K12R dynos at the high 130s) but it's a good all around package. Italian bikes out-handle it, Japos out-accelerate but there is a lot of great gee-wiz stuff that come on Bimmers and they certainly have their own look.
ESA, puños calefactables, ABS, frenada integral, revisiones cada 10.000 kilometros... son solo algunos de los detalles que nunca tendrán las japos o las italianas. Si a eso le sumas un montón de CV y una estética rompedora (sobre todo en amarillo) tendrás una moto con un solo aspecto negativo, el precio.
