During the monologue Triple H came out and shook his hand saying "break a leg" then proceeded to say "I'm still going to kick your ass after the show." They kept kayfabe because Mcmahon ordered them not to do anything.

After watching this I really miss the good old WWF days!! Foley, Big Show, and Rock all singing together just proves how big wrestling was back then. The SNL crowd was chanting Rocky, if any other WWE superstar were to host, I guarantee you that nobody in the crowd would chant their name or even know who the wrestler is. A crowd that is not predominately filled with WWF fans know enough to distinct that The Great One was hosting. Foley and Big Show in the skit proves WWF's popularity. WWE sucks!

Edge isn't more committed than The Rock, he's extremely less talented than The Rock. If he had star quality like The Rock, guess what he wouldn't still be wrestling. If Edge was offered many, many, millions to act in a leading role of a major motion picture, his wrestling days would be over. I think Edge has partly benefited from injuries, infighting, and a general lack of talented performers in the biz at the time.......all that said, I would agree with you on the notion that Edge is great, but I wonder how much of that would have happened if a void at the top wouldnt have happened.....there has to be a reason Vince waited so long before putting the guy at main event level....

There needs to be a "void at the top" for anyone to be elevated to the main event, including The Rock. He went from being Intercontinental Champion to winning a WWF Championship tournament which was set up after Austin vacated the title, due to injury. Also, this'll probably put us on ends, but I think there is much more maine vent-quality talent in the WWE now, than there was in The Rock's time. Plus, Edge is simply a better wrestler and is more committed to what he does.
