It's still hard for me to realize that Harry Potter is really over...it's seems like it was just yesterday I saw the 1st and 2nd movie for the first time. I can't wait until I have children to introduce them to Harry Potter.

god can you imagine how sad that must have been? over a decade working on these films with the same cast, same crew in the same places and all of a sudden it's over.
@Aranel1200 They have to work for the whole day else it wouldn't be completed in time, If even 1 person isn't in to do something for them let's say a stunt guy, they can't do that scene because it has to be done perfectly. They may not have the right equipment or sets ready to do certain scenes. E.g The Great Hall took 3 weeks or so to 'ruin' when Hagrid was carrying Harrys body back to the school, they're not going to wait all that time, doing nothing, before they can start filming again.
@Universalcoasters Yes it was, that was the last scene they filmed ever, that was their last day. It's done in a completely random order... They finished filming for DH P2 back in April 2010 which was way before even Part 1 was in Cinema.
I know, but I don't understand why they say 'we do this 1 then this 1'. Is it because of the weather or their location? Or do they flick to a page in the script and say 'lets do this 1' ?
@chesney121 I don't know how they choose which scene they're going to do other than basing it on equipment, people, or location details e.g. like you said like the weather. I guess they try and do it in a rough chronological order based on that.
It's really hard to believe that it's over.. It feels like I grew up with them. I'm the same age as Dan & I was in 1st year of middle school back then when it first started.. It's really sad.
Hard to believe its over! i swear there is nothing to live for anymore! nothing will ever compare to the sheer brilliance of Harry Potter. :'( r.i.p childhood.
We snatched the Philosopher's Stone out of Voldemort's grasp, we entered Chamber of Secrets and left victorious, we saved the Prisoner of Azkaban from the dementor's kiss, we met the challenges of the Goblet of Fire, we fought alongside the Order of the Phoenix, we faced Half-blood Prince, and we mastered the Deathly Hallows.
They shouldve ended the movie with Harry carrying Voldemort's body into the Hall instead of having Voldemort disappear in pieces... but still, it was a GREAT movie.. I'll miss Alan playing Snape :')
kind of symbolic, them all growing up with each other during filming and the last shot is quite literally them jumping out of potter and into the real world. the end of an era
harry potter is and always will be a legend in history of cinema....harry will always be the universal hero....like everyone else even my childhood had been shadowed by the movie..i didnt feel sad wid the end of harry potter books but am very sad with the end of movie franchise.. but it had to come to an end...and so it did......i'll really miss harry, hermoine, ron and the magic world...!! hope to see more films of daniel..he is my favourite..!!

and they did for all 8 films and theres nothing that means more to me :D great memories
if theres ever a remake it'll have competition only for true fans :D
