@djd2488 I agree. Rondo is not paid to score points like Ray, he gets paid for distributing the ball and finding open men. Although sometimes he can drop 20+ points a game but he gets them all from driving to the hoop. Also when it comes down to it Rondo can make his jump shots. Most of the 3 pointers he takes is when the shot clock is winding down and he has made a couple of big ones.
rondo is not a billion times better, he's slightly better. ray just doesn't get enough offense because Rivers is a shitty coach. rondo can't shoot still, runs a clumsy half court offense, while ray's D is better than it used to be and he can score at will when he's getting the shots. I dunno how Doc didn't notice that when Pierce was out Ray was unbelievable every night. give him more shotssss
@djd2488 i agree. pierce has to create his own shots and rondo didnt distribute the ball to ray off the screen enough until recently. ray pretty much works his ass off coming off screens and not getting the ball and doc should tell rondo to be confident in rays shooting. Remember, Ray averaged 26.5 points per game the season before he went to Boston which was the highest of his career, only 2 1/2 years ago.

@djd2488 I agree. Rondo is not paid to score points like Ray, he gets paid for distributing the ball and finding open men. Although sometimes he can drop 20+ points a game but he gets them all from driving to the hoop. Also when it comes down to it Rondo can make his jump shots. Most of the 3 pointers he takes is when the shot clock is winding down and he has made a couple of big ones.

rondo is not a billion times better, he's slightly better. ray just doesn't get enough offense because Rivers is a shitty coach. rondo can't shoot still, runs a clumsy half court offense, while ray's D is better than it used to be and he can score at will when he's getting the shots. I dunno how Doc didn't notice that when Pierce was out Ray was unbelievable every night. give him more shotssss

@djd2488 i agree. pierce has to create his own shots and rondo didnt distribute the ball to ray off the screen enough until recently. ray pretty much works his ass off coming off screens and not getting the ball and doc should tell rondo to be confident in rays shooting. The playoffs is where ray steps it up anyways though.

Ray is still very good but, it is very hard to play with Rondo. He dominates the ball, can't shoot and should not be starting in the NBA. Of the big 3, Ray had to make the biggest adjustment. Just like styles make fights, player styles can affect another player, especially the point guard position. Remember, Ray averaged 26.5 points per game the season before he went to Boston which was the highest of his career, only 2 1/2 years ago.

i disagree with respect. Hes always been a great shooter, but when he was younger, he used to drive in so much more and create his own shots. He was much more of the offensive force than he is now. Even though hes probably the most in shape 35 y/o ive ever seen, legs are always a factor for a long distance shooter.

Coaches are not very smart they always giving the ball to their best players at situations like if there is 10 seconds left and youre down by 2 coaches always goves to their best players while the other players arealways focusing on the best ones. So what im trying to say is give the ball to the best player make pretend youre gonna drive it and send a three pointer to the three point line and pass the ball to them.
