Going from paper to electronic may have some impact on the NYT, but what's really causing this paper to tank is the fact that they continue to hire moronic left wing tabloid writers. Like Maureen Dowd and her imaginary words. HAHAHAHAHA! What's next? Will she now claim ufo's abducted and impregnated her? She needs to go back to wherever she bought her so called education, and demand a full refund.
Good let them go under they are biased and censored by the Government. I prefer independent media from the net. It is impossible for the government to censor every web based media outlet without outright passing laws against what they can say.
maybe the New York Times shouldn't have built such a fancy new building...that thing is huge!!! (and hideous) I wonder what the mortgage is on that slab of steel!!!
Thats right they had a very beautiful building at 1 times square!!! Today, that once proud and prominent building, is just a mere striped down billboard stand!
Why did they even need a building in the first place? If everything is online, how come their journalists can't work from home on their own computers?
The New York Times recently spent over a 100 million dollars building this huge skyscraper on 8th avenue. They should of just stayed where they wher. That is why they are now in trouble. Twin Fair a department store chain did the same thing during the 70s. They went crazy building all new stores. 2 years later they went bankrupt. Money wasted on glitz. Same thing with New York city transit. They wasted money on glitz. Much cheaper rebuilding all the older buses, and trains.
Perhaps if the news papers cast off the shackles of their Zionist owners & started presenting honest bipartisan news the way they are supposed to, They wouldn't be in danger of going bankrupt.
Yeah.. You herd that comment about Bloggers. They are so scared of us openly communicating with each other. They don't want you to think. They want to tell you what to think & what to believe. They will try & take over the internet so they can control what You learn. If you find that hard to believe. Look up & read about Internet 2. & look at it with an open mind. Don't just believe anything you hear. This is just an attempt to take over the information You receive. A free mind is dangerous.

Actually Obama's approval rating is about 66% according to Gallup, as for the FEMA camps and this country about to crash it's been predicted before and it never happened.

Its also because western papers by and large - as RT have also reported, have absolutely no interest in being honest or truthful

The Nobel winner of 2008 Pol Krugman has declared that "Obama's plan conducts to national accident" and is doomed to a failure.
By November, 2009 the internal chaos will begin in the USA, this country goes to crash of the statehood by summer of 2010.
Find "FEMA camps" and "Martial Law" in google. Bye, bye, America. Evil Empire will be destroyed.
