Hes a scripted minigame fight, youre not supposed to use normal attacks on him. You have to get close enough him to throw bombs at him.

Well.. for pve (at least stationary) dps i find clicking better for timing my spells and thereby more dps. If you say clicking is bad I say your comment is bad. On my healer I keybind cause clicking is too slow. Whatever suits your style is the best.. m'kay...

I use the robe atm until i get the 100 badges one. I run at 1.1k +spell and 1.2k +shadow and my output is preety sick.

As a T6 Mage (at least in Burning Crusade) I have raided with people in all different types of gear. Only when I saw Locks in T6/Sunwell Gear I saw a big upgrade in DPS. But when I was raiding TK/SSC, FwS was the way to go and competed with those in 5/5 T5.

Also this was before the patch giving incinerate 10% more haste. (Not that it has ANYTHING to do with this video)

If I remember correctly I had 1320 spelldamage and maybe 70 haste.

It is of course true that you don't HAVE to be hit-capped.. it just help on dps more than other stats in most cases. Hit cap should not be reached at any cost of crit and spelldamage.

decapitato, in 40/21 you're also getting a 15% damage increase if you're using a succubus and soul link, so you end up with 15% damage increase (not just shadow) spell damage buff, and 5% crit. Not saying 0/40/21 is better, just sounds like you're saying it's horrible when it's still viable.

Well you need more crit. I the video you have below 25% crit. Anyway in 25 man raids sb crit for up to 8k with kara, tailoring and some pvp gear. And yes if any lock wants to go destro have hit capped and at least 22%crit if you want to make the best of it.

0/40/21 is a waste, you make up for the loss of spell damage with S and F, and 15% shadowdamage is > 5% to crit. Remember, once you hit 23% shadowbolt crit with talents (backlash + devastation = 8%) hit > spell damage > crit

I allways lifetap before HP-bar get full so that no Soul Leech procs don't go to waste. The first one after 4-5 bolts depending on your life-tap gain. Use manapot asap and on every cooldown.
