  • Anyone with a soul wouldn't work for EA

  • she is more annoying than him

  • pause at 1:07 hahah

  • Dat mole....

  • (cont) spent in the black. As an ex-manager for both Dominos and Papa John's, I can assure you that their jobs are the same, if not more difficult, as a job in the gaming field. At least in the game industry, one disgruntled customer cannot lie on a complaint line to cost you your job. I have had to fire a few drivers because of things like that. You are in position to become one of the next level of celebrities in the coming years. Be thankful, and carry on. Use that vacation after crunch time!

  • @blameboy and @Shiftfallout If your school does no prepare you for this harsh reality, then you need to switch to a more realistic degree. Full Sail, for example, reinforces every single day that if you are not ready for these realities then you need to consider a major change.

Also, if you think the games industry is the only place that is this way, you are sadly mistaken. With the current economy, ANY salary job is being pushed more and more to pick up the slack to keep labor dollars (cont)

  • They sounded so CORNY and weird , and it was scripted. WHY!?!?!? it just makes me NOt want a job there hahaha

  • damn she fugly.....

  • sometimes i just want to be stuck in a room full of nerds throwing plastic balls at each other and sniggering over rude words in the sim language i dont care if you thumb this up but this is how i feel

  • I want to hit the bitch in her face...

  • @Stakan1 gross that meets you'd hit that giant bulge on her face :p

  • These guys are so hip I wanna sell my soul to EA too

  • YAY!!!! for propaganda i want to become a game programmer now THX EA!!!

  • Im currently a junior in Highschool looking into a career in video game design, and was looking for anyone who may have resources I could use to get a grasp of what I'm getting myself into before I decide if this is what I want to do when I choose a college.

  • @fugbot4560 i knoo. I am exactly like u. I wanna be like graphic designer but im not sure if ea university like accept high school students

  • lazer zapping is a great way for YOU...to get rid of that HUGE mole.

  • what people are forgeting about though IS THAT every job you do might have rough spots BUT if you LOVE and i mean LOVE creting games(like me)this is heaven even without all those "fun things" and even if you dont get to even play your games that often so everyone that whines about how crummy it is behind the scenes(which i highly dought) if your dedicated you could find this to be heaven

  • thumbs up if you tuned out as soon as you saw the spot...

  • she looks high off her ass

  • Good communication strategy. Don't fall for that though :p

  • that girl is sooo bad acting

  • Female human version of Goofy.

    Lol wut?

  • @TeTaniwhaNui well, they sure make good games, nothing more than that. And on that time when i made my comment i was probably "suffering" from a video game addiction, so you see...

  • Look up what crunch time is and how long it is ... that will make you think twice. Game development is a job, and a damned stressful one at that. If you like working 3 or 4 months of 20 hour days, 6 days a week then go for it! If not, maybe you should do a little more research and ask people who have had the jobs what they think. Jobs, any job, are never what you first expect them to be. It's called "work" for a reason.

  • The girl looks like she is mentally challenged

  • AWSOME JOB EVER!

  • What EA is about... hmmm.. let me see. Taking names then selling it into pieces to the hopeful fans that wait something new from their favorite series. Flooding the market with broke, stupid protected (that harass the costumers), games. Since there are plenty of ignorant gamers out there to buy it, the same way as they eat crappy hamburguers with toys.

And you keep not lissening the increasing hatred against you. You know that saying, "you can fool some people sometimes..."

  • i now see why your video games are not completely "right".

  • corny... but nice try guys

  • This video has absolutely nothing to do with the actual internship. Seriously? You're trying to attract grad students, not five years olds.. right?

  • DO NOT BUY any EA games because there going to charge people to play online

  • @trinity2112 i feel you man, ea is just some greedy ass company owned by a greedy ass bastard

  • there on crack

  • If I joind EA mu buddy wont talk to me!

  • ea sucks! they caceled Tiberium.....retards. all you people who say they know how to make a game are right, but they cant plaese the fans. thats thier weak point. Bungie and Gearbox forever!!!

  • man, having a future at gaming is just awesome... EA are probably the best game makers, they sure know what to do to make a game be perfect

  • yeah, i'll work there!!!

they get their jobs done and have fun doing it. thats the kinda job I want to have when I get older.

  • im coming EA im coming

  • oooo I wanna go there! :O

  • Look's FUN :-)

    I WON'T TO B THERE :-)

  • I would work for EA if VALVE or Nintendo don't take me when I'm old enough.

  • Omg!!! Take me take me!!!! Hehe, JK but seriously I wanna work for the Littlest Pet Shop games or The Sims game :]

  • man i wished to work for EA since 4th grade right now im in art high school i really hope someday ill work for them as a designer

  • I love EA!!!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO

  • What this video doesn't convey is what it's like about a year after you join. It doesn't show you having a quiet little cry in the train station around midnight because you're so tired of working 80 hour weeks and you know that when you get home your wife and children will already be asleep and all you just feel completely alone.

  • that is so sad :( the game industry really takes advantage of people passion

  • @blameboy lol

  • @blameboy Thats why you get a steady career before you have a wife and kids ^_^

  • @blameboy what wife and kids?? GL with that!

  • @blameboy This is called life for real. Welcome on board.

  • @blameboy what a drama queen

  • damn i jost lost the game

  • Wow, EA have a soft play area for you to leave your retarded loved ones while you work.

  • I just vomited all over myself.

  • @AGRACUTA wat u said didnt make any sense lol

  • The problem I have with this approach, EA, is that you reinforce the idea that game development is all fun and games. While it can be fun and rewarding, its not just all fun and games. There is a lot of hard work, technical, creative, going into these projects. Too many people think since playing games is fun, that therefore making them will be just as easy and enjoyable. Its at that point when someone needs to push the reality check button.

  • @Shiftfallout

I could not have put it better myself. There is quite a lot that goes into making a game. The reality of working in the game industry if you are serious is forgoing many social and personal time to put in the hours and work needed to complete projects. it's a sacrifice many find themselves unable to do. It's a great career and very rewarding, but many don't realize the price.

  • @Shiftfallout if you watch the other vids he says how hard game design is

  • do i have to live there? my career choice is game designer/animator/creater/beta tester

  • dammit if only I lived near there

  • I so want to join EA. There got some promising program that can help me make my games

  • Remember, its not YOUR games when you work in the industry, its always a team creation, very few actually can claim to design every aspect of a big title. It always has to be a team mentality when making games for any company. This video is promoting their internship program for graduates. Its one option out of many. I would recommend going in as a level designer, start building a portfolio with mods and get an education in CS or Game design if possible,

  • Hmmm...... Well i am interested in Animation because i love to draw stuff and plus my result, so i think i should choose to be an Animationer. But hey! Thanks for the tips anyway! :)

  • Ah thats different, you cant make "your games" through animation though. I thought you were interested in design since only designers have a bad habit of saying "my games". Drawing is also different than animation. In a typical game studio you have the concept artists, maybe a cg team (blizzard's is larger than pixars) and the art asset team. Though all "art" they can require very different skills.

  • I just love playing games!

  • Can i go there to learn Game Designing after High School ?

    I also know a bit of C++

  • i really want this one!

  • i never really knew there's a

    university called EA University.

    just kidding...

    :D

  • oh dude i want this so hard
