This was an interesting period in music where artists were exploring songs that could be played at either speed. Although the commercial release of the CD reflects the 33 speed, the artist actually intended the song to be played at either speed (I have this on good faith from several artists of the ambient genre from this period). I play this tune out on vinyl at 45 rpm and it always brings good results. Put aside your preconceived notions and listen to it again.
