Is it just me or are the L4D2 bots thick (as in dumb)

I remember in L4D1 the bots would help you up almost immediately if you were being constricted, pounced on, hanging from a building, etc. and heal you when it was appropriate. But in L4D2 they're like "duhhhh he fall down go boom. should I help him up or just look at him. oh hey he got a mosquito bite, here, lemme heal ya." I don't think valve likes the south haha.

The bots are really getting on my nerves. One of them set off an alarmed car (he jumped onto it), and one healed me when my health was at 44 despite the fact that they were black & white. Also, I hate when Survivors heal you way too early even though you have your own medkit!
