Not a serious fan of either Zep or Billy Squier in the day, I was into 80's New Wave. I thought Lonely Is The Night to be a Zep tune but could never find it on any of their releases. But Zep was gone two years when it came out. Like Stevie Ray Vaughn did with Hendrix, Billy Squier and Bobby Chouinard (John Bonham sound alike) managed to capture some of Zep's spirit in this tune: 1:34 3:00 3:46 and overall. Makes me wonder if Chouinard should have rung up Jimmy Page during Squier's sabbatical.

Squire's music definitely does not have the Bluesy sound/style of Page. Billy & Robert...I never even gave it a thought,,,I could name the tune in one note...they are that different.
