  • Love it. That's some good-looking drumming!

  • MY NAME IS HUGH QUIGLEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are these fellas from? if it's Ireland I'll shit meself

  • No they are from North Haven Connecticut. However Hugh Quigley was of Irish decent and visited Ireland several times in his day. He dies in 1991. Top notch drummer, and fine human being. WWII Veteran in France and Germany from Normandy France landing.

  • Creepy

  • I was happy that Woody Sheades had these clips. Unfortunatly with the technology of the time there was no sound. They were converted from 8mm to DVD but the DVD company had classical music playing as background music. If I find more I will post them.

  • pity we dont have more clips of these great players i still have a great recording that the ludwig drum co.made with f.arsenault playing the 26 standard drum rudiments. his sound was beautiful and that mammy daddy ---ahh! this talent is gone, what a pity

  • Hugh Quigley, Eldrige Arsenault, Earl Strutze....these are the masters in action. Such beautiful style and arm motion is demonstrated here. Even with such arm motion, they were very efficient drummers.

  • Its sad to see that style of rudimental drumming is dying out in the Connecticut Ancient Drumming circles. Us and the Creek are the die hards!

  • That is some SERIOUS rudimental drumming. Damn!! :o
