I too like both metal and Cohen, who is one of my favourite musicians. Some others are Marianne Faithfull, Maceo Parker, Neil Diamond, Glen Hansard, Linda Perry, Dusty Springfield, Chris Rea..., and something different like Primal Fear, Ayreon, Haggard, Eluveitie, Disturbed, Korn, and specialy stuff like Reveille, Genuflect, One Minute Silence. For me they are all different emotions, but i can't listen everything Techno, House gives me a headache and i get upset and angry after 10 minutes.

@ghitza2006 Thanks! Perhaps I may have a case of synethesia or something, but I think sounds, colors and flavors have interchangeable qualities. Therefore voices have a certain color, texture and taste to them. His voice has a smooth, dark caressing quality with a touch of acidity, and it is a joy to wallow in. It really does feel and taste like chocolate and wine to me, so I guess I was being more literal than metaphoric. With a voice like his though, it's not a much of a stretch, is it? =)

This artist is the best to have performed for the sheer enjoyment of his audience. I thought Clapton was the emotional man of the times but Leonard is the class act of all time. I LOVE metal, classical, jazz, folk music from all over the world, hip hop, techno, punk rock etc. LOVE as in listen to it regularly.
