I enjoyed the frustration with the scribing example...in my case, there is usually blood involved :D....Everything is looking great...looking forward to this projects progress...thanks for sharing...Jim.
Don't Funnel all the Good stuff to one End !!! it's a Dio and Each element is important ! You don't want peoples looking at it Stay put at the Rebel base and ignore the rest !
Don't set anything in concrete so you can keep moving elements in and out and make the whole thing viewable from all angle or ! give it a Nice Back drop painting which will enable you to MOUNT the whole thing on the wall and become a Conversation piece ! Norm. OUT !
Good ideas. If I were to mount it I'd need to make one side flat. I want to have it as your first suggestion - viewable all around. Any suggestions to keep it interesting all around?
Scott, was your scribing demo for real? If so, it looks like you're putting a lot of pressure on the scribing point. Too much pressure makes it more likely to slip. I learned that lesson from the kitchen, that's one reason to keep your knives sharp-dull knife takes more work to cut, which leads to slips (and a finger in the salad :O ) Maybe your scriber is too dull or blunt?
You could think of it as the downed ATAT was the the lead and the one the rebels focused on first. Just depends on what timeframe you envision for your set.
Hey dude... im not big into Starwars kits an stuff,im just a plane ,car, tank or heli and the odd bike kit kinda guy but i always watch your vids an always learn a handy tip... keep em comin dude! big up from Liverpool UK.
It's all good. I'm not big into some genres but I still love to learn techniques too. Then I was trying to figure out rivets I went straight to Armorama, not a sci-fi site.

nice layout plans... i think the downed atat should the one most forward... does that make sence?

Really? I see it as one of the first to go down and therefore at the rear.

if it was the front one you can have stormtroopers seeking cover behind. i just think they are too close to being overrun if it's the back one...
