You are confusing the concept of BLACK — which really represents Original, Truthful, and God consciousness — with "brown" skin colour, which is pigmentation. Since the greek gods are based of off Egyptian and those off of Sumerian (which you should really get into), they are wrong. @MrJacky04 I can't explain a theory on it, because all I have is facts and certainty. As for facts about the original man/people, a basic knowledge of genetics takes care of that. As for Superman, the young man who made this video just showed you the Kemetic roots/influences, shouldn't be anything to doubt. The shows/movie "creators"(i use that term loosely here) don't just pull rabbits out their hat. They don't love you, but they'll plagiarize your concepts and history.

I used this project for a media awareness class for 5th and 6th graders. Have you thought about traveling with this for young people? Nah...the Super Hero wouldn't be black because they are created with intent of buffering the EXTREMELY delicate and fragile psyche of the European. A lot of it is perception, really..so the "reading too much" is more of a personal value. Sometimes you'll see things that others do not or vice versa. But if the video (and subsequent parts) get people to at least QUESTION what we are presented with, then mission: accomplished.

I assume that you referring to John Connor's initials is a reference to Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus Himself was black, as was Adam. The entire population of the Earth was black, until after the Tower of Babel (in the book of Genesis). God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost (Genesis 11; 7) told the people venture to other parts of the Earth and multiply to essentially populate the Earth, now 7 continents when before it was one land mass, thanks to the Flood.

Interesting you mentioned ICON in your other comment: I created a plethora of characters in high school, but when I 1st saw ICON and his folk I removed my "guilt*" of having them be predominantly Black; I felt obligated to have my team be "multicultural". Exactly we have to have the talent the marketing plan, busisness plan and distribution network. Like Denys Dwayne and Micheal did with Milestone in the 90s. The Black Heru ICON under DC started outselling superman and DC shut their great comic work down. At least they were able to save static. But we have to rise as black creators work together and as our own entities to publish our work for our people about our Heroes..I mean Herus.

@blackUNIgod I dunno if sales were the reason Icon and the rest of the Milestone line were shut down, but I can tell you (I got this directly from McDuffie himself) on his forum) that the reason Static Shock only lasted 4 seasons was the lack of merchandising: They couldn't find anyone to make the toys and other auxiliary items that truly make an animated show profitable.

You know the Justice League Cartoons were written by a Brother Dwayne Mcduggle I may have his last name wrong but he created Static Shock. He writes for D.C. and Started New Image the Comic that was out a while back that was distributed by D.C.

LOLOL, I like your theories, but some of that stuff I think you mighta read tooo much into. No diss but I hate when they make legacy characters black, instead of establishing new ones, or trying to make established ones black.
We should create our own mythos so good lookin' out bruh. That's why I hope good things for Hancock and his mythos.
But that being said good luck with crafting your own mythos, and that at 3:57 was a tight book.

A lot of it is perception, really..so the "reading too much" is more of a personal value. Sometimes you'll see things that others do not or vice versa. But if the video (and subsequent parts) get people to at least QUESTION what we are presented with, then mission: accomplished.
As for making "legacy" characters Black, to look at it from another perspective, I see it as making a CORRECTION, for most (if not all) of the great icons have African elements that make them great & endure. Seen?

I assume that you referring to John Connor's initials is a reference to Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus Himself was black, as was Adam. The entire population of the Earth was black, until after the Tower of Babel (in the book of Genesis). God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost (Genesis 11; 7) told the people venture to other parts of the Earth and multiply to essentially populate the Earth, now 7 continents when before it was one land mass, thanks to the Flood.

When the people refused to, God broke up the language (genesis 11;7), this is where we get all Earth's languages. They that spoke japanese went with them that spoke Japanese, the French talkers went witht he French talkers, and so on. However, they were all still black. They pigmentations changed as a result of migrating to the areas of the Earth they migrated to. For example: the blacks that became known as Asians received their eye proportions as a result of the sun.

They were farmers, and would constantly squint to help keep the sun out of their eyes. Overtime, their eyes became what we see today. This is farmers in Asian countries (Philippines, China, Japan, etc.) were those enormous round bowl-like hats over their heads when farming. Furthermore, Japan is referred to as the land of the rising sun, it was when the sun would rise during these early farming hours why and how this occurred.

What i also find interesting is that the KKK (yes that racist organization) admits that the first person created on Earth was black and was created in Africa. This was where God made Adam. And since God made Adam in Africa that would mean that the Garden of Eden was also in Africa. Yes! However, the kkk's rant is that the blacks that populated the Earth were dumb, and so when their skin turned white, that's when they became intelligent. This is where they get that white superiority trash.

I have always had the idea of wanting to create Black superheroes as a way of inspiring the black youth. Someone said in another post about hooking up with some writers and artists. I am an amature artist and I am introducing some of my "heroes of color" right on my youtube channel . I like your familiarity with egytian mythos, and I too am working on a storyline that will include references to this anchient and powerful african culture. still, Smith is a damn good actor(quality rapper(for the families anyway) and Im proud of him doing more seriouse films as of late, 7 pounds was off the hook.
I would like to see smith try to play villain, it would expand on his acting abiltiy.
Denzel Washington had stated that he would never play a superhero, he would do tights. Truth betold I can see Mr WAshington as a supervilain though, if Lex Luther were black, Id pick Denzel.

I'm Black. It's not something one can get "too caught up on." It's my history, my phenotype, genotype, my existence and my religion. It's something I'm proud of and ANYTHING I do should promote my Blackness and MY PEOPLE before all others. There is no debate.
Why when you get older? Start NOW, bruh. Get those skills up. Say you ARE a comic book artist and let those words create your reality.

This is how I feel ,people imagined gods as how they themselves looked i.e. the Greek gods were white.Example Thor a superhero is based on a Norwegian god and as we all know Norwegians are white.Dude race dosen't make the hero it's just the package their in.The green lanterns are heroes from across the universe made up of thousands of alien species ,and about the superman skin thing you have a point but plants absorb much more sun than human skin so with your logic he should be green.

If superman were a carbon-based PLANT then it would be best that he be green, for CHLOROPHYLL best utilizes that color.
For carbon-based ORGANISMS, the best colors/shades for maximum solar absorption are the DARKER ones.
Furthermore, if people only imagined their gods looking like themselves, then why did the Natives of modern-day Mexico worship BLACK gods with clearly African features..?

No doubt. It's about getting the information out there, which is what I'm looking to do with my flagship characters. Interesting you mentioned ICON in your other comment: I created a plethora of characters in high school, but when I 1st saw ICON and his folk I removed my "guilt*" of having them be predominantly Black; I felt obligated to have my team be "multicultural". You should see them now, lol.....

Exactly we have to have the talent the marketing plan, busisness plan and distribution network. Like Denys Dwayne and Micheal did with Milestone in the 90s. The Black Heru ICON under DC started outselling superman and DC shut their great comic work down. At least they were able to save static. But we have to rise as black creators work together and as our own entities to publish our work for our people about our Heroes..I mean Herus.

@blackUNIgod I dunno if sales were the reason Icon and the rest of the Milestone line were shut down, but I can tell you (I got this directly from McDuffie himself) on his forum) that the reason Static Shock only lasted 4 seasons was the lack of merchandising: They couldn't find anyone to make the toys and other auxiliary items that truly make an animated show profitable.
