  • well......very different from Martha Graham............ lol

  • i wish you explained the moves a little more, but it was great though. well done x

  • ultimate

  • Is this from like the 60's or something? Heehee :)

  • @flowerpuddle10101

no, not the 60's. It is reminiscent of the 1980's, which if you check with pop culture is very popular right now. Not only the dance vocabulary, but the clothes.... even for class. Keep watching, you will soon be seeing even the tube socks! I think that the 70's garb will soon be everywhere as well, like the fashions we saw in the movie Flashdance.

  • no go 2 dancers its the best

  • to fast? slow down?!?!

  • I think the dances could be a little more fluid in motion.

  • This looks like alot of fun and I really would like to try jazz dance. Is there any prerequisites to take before starting jazz dance? I'm 21 and have no dance experience. :(

  • @lns1988 I don't know whether you've got an answer or not, or mines too late. But while taking jazz classes (newbeginner class) you should go classical dance aswell. It really improves your technique!

  • @NemiiRoocks No, you're the first response. Thanks, I will definitely try that. :-)

  • i have the same question that hiphopgurlere has xcept in the US... and they have 2 b RLY cheap!

  • this is cool :) thanks for the vid. i do gymnastics now and was thinking of switching to jazz.....it kinda gave me an idea of what sort of moves u do :)

  • yeah, i do gymnastics, and i just started jazz, and its awsome gymnastics really helps me do jazz :P

  • Come watch my dance moves on AlienIdol! By the was nice video!

  • that's really a good job)

  • She goes really fast. :\ Otherwise, great! The dances and costumes are loads like my studios!

  • i think it could have been a tad more jazzy, the only thing that annoyed me were the very classical turns and chaine turns. They could have added more with the arms close to the body with closed fists and with a bent supporting leg with the working leg's foot bent to be touching the supporting legs knee if that makes sense? :) oh and one more thing, it seemed to flow but too much, some of the movements would have been better off as sharp, pungent movements. Otherwise great choreography. :) :)

  • Woah, Awesome. I couldnt even do that is i tried but very nice. :)

  • :P veeryy goooood!

  • i absolutely loved this!! <3

  • hi its cute whats is the music that u use in two dance

  • Hello,

The DVD comes with both dances and they don't come seperately. So sorry. Someday soon I hope to figure out the technology for downloading "singles" from my website, and then that would be possible. (and cool!)

  • Hi Cathy,

I am a fellow dance professional and use a lot of your technique in my classes. My brother moved to Michigan (Grand Rapids) about a year ago and I sure miss him. I hope you love it there as much as he does, it looks beautiful!

Good luck with selling your studio.

  • @cathyroe1 I live in Michigan and am a dancer. What area are you in? If you are continuing to teach dance I am looking for a new teacher or studio. Thanks!(:

  • I LOVE how all the dancers are together!&& I love the leg extensions!

  • i feel like there isn't much variety in the steps... just a lot of leg extensions. And what happened to the 3 levels of high, medium, low?

  • Did you look at the second number? It BEGINS with low-medium-high levels and continues throughout the demo. Please keep in mind that you are seeing just a few seconds of a 3 minute number. Levels, composition, variety and dynamics develop through the number.

  • I meant no offense by my comment. I did enjoy the video.

  • It's not supposed to be "hard". It's purpose is to be artistic, entertaining and do-able for dance students, having them look professional at their own level. That's the "trick" to having groups of dancers look awesome on stage in group numbers.

  • coool
