  • Hopelessness, anger, nihlism...I've been there. Good luck with your life, NovemVmbrae666

  • To Show concern for human beings like Jarade Loughner is in no way a disrespect to those who have died, been harmed in any way shape or form. How many people understand that their are people like Jarade and my son also Bryce Vandergrift, who simply need help. Who deserve their medications. Those who are gaining more control seem to be to devalue the lives of anyone not just like them. Will these same people give Jarade the death penalty?

  • The best way to get rid of mental illness problems is to deal with the mentally ill people who are the problem. There is no reason why society should have to put up with their shit. The government should just gas them like Hitler did with the Jews.

  • @SocietysChlorine oh my, you sound like a lot of people I came across who call themselves Conservatives, Tea partiers, and Republicans.

  • @SocietysChlorine anyone would have to be "mentally ill" to listen to an idiot like you

  • I am an SMI in Arizona and thank goodness that I was able to get help 10 years ago. Now I am gainfully employed, have insurance coverage, and am functioning very well. It isn't so great out there for other SMIs who do not have the education and skills that I have. I have seen the changes that Mr. Romans is talking about, including cutting psychiatric counseling, access to a psychiatric nurse, and brand-name medication.

  • I think the government should round up and eliminate all mentally ill people from society to prevent this from happening again.

  • @SwineAIDS Only if we can start with you.

  • @SwineAIDS Thank you! Nice to see not everyone around here is completely stupid.

  • @SwineAIDS the government should round up and eliminate all FAGGOTS like you from society to prevent this from happening again

  • "the costs were not really eliminated, just pushed down to less visible areas...to the most expensive services the community has to offer: that's emergency rooms, hospitalisation, law enforcement intervention... so the communities are spending the money even tho it appears that the lawmakers believe that they have saved money ... we have to acknowledge that it is ultimately less expensive to offer necessary services..."

  • H. Clarke Roman's words should receive widespread and serious attention. The onset of schizophrenia or bipolar illness has a devastating impact on the minds of young people. Early intervention can prevent repeated and debilitating episodes and give young people the tools they need to manage their illness. They can go on to lead purposeful lives as member of the community with the right supports. I know, because I began to suffer from mental illness in my teens and am now managing well.

I agree with you whole-heartedly and you can spell!

  • @gilraen789 schizophrenia is the only hope that us young people have in a disgusting and putrid "reality" filled with mindless faggots like you

  • This is crazy! Blaming budget cuts for this murderes action! You take away accountability for his actions and politicize his evil actions

  • @BeantownJim not blaming, saying it could have been prevented. just like maybe it could have been prevented if sarah palin weren't issuing hitlists and tea partiers weren't openly telling its followers to take up firearms against the government.

of course, you're a con, and cons don't believe in accountability for themselves, only for others.

  • @highway234 Would of,Could of,Might of. So much for reality!

  • @BeantownJim so you're saying that timely mental health treatment would NOT have prevented this? or are you just being a con troll? i suspect the latter.

  • @highway234 That is fear in of it'self. There is no prevention for this.No one knows what another man will do.That's not reality. But it does make for good buisness i.e. prozac etc etc etc.You lib's made a great buisness out of this!

  • @BeantownJim yeah, cuz "libs" are solely responsible for prozac.

    blithering idiocy.

  • @BeantownJim don't look now but there are actually people who need medications and are okay when they are on them.

  • @highway234 I expect accountability to those who claim the know whats best for others. How's that hope and change going for ya?

  • @BeantownJim hope and change ain't that great, admittedly, but i'll take it over the bush administration any day of the week.
