I don't think he can reach say a Brandon Jennings level shortterm and longterm I see him more like a third tier pointguard who should come off the bench for most good teams. Edgar Sosa is good, but too inconsistent, and Siva is talented but of course a freashmen. Samuels isn't quite established, I'd say alot is based on his hs years although he did have a solid year last year. I agree with the coach thing though. lol louisville's a threat but I'd still say KU's the clear favorite and with good reason, I think many of our second string and some from our third would start or play for alot of teams in the country. But you can only have 5 on the court, so who knows...

Yes, you have 7 titles to our 5. The MAJORITY of your titles were won in the 40's & 50's. I regards to NC State I was referring to the 70's and early 80's. Bottom line is the SEC has been a ONE TEAM conference since it's inception. The only exception being UF for a couple of years and Ark for a couple of years.

you kids dont know shit about the sec their may not be a team every year but over the years uk has had good foes ut,lsu, for instance since 94 lsu went to the final 4 miss st, ark, uf,uk thats 5 diff teams and in the last 15 years 3 teams have won titles 2 multiple xs uf ,uk shaq,pistol,barley.etc in 96 sec had 4 in the sweet 16 2 in the final 4 .lsu and uf in final 4 2years ago 2 teams has been there like 4xs in the last 15 years from the sec anyways uk is gonna rule 3 titles since 78

Yes, you have 7 titles to our 5. The MAJORITY of your titles were won in the 40's & 50's. I regards to NC State I was referring to the 70's and early 80's. Bottom line is the SEC has been a ONE TEAM conference since it's inception. The only exception being UF for a couple of years and Ark for a couple of years.

Please, the other than UF's back 2 back years the SEC is ALWAYS DOWN. UK has dominated that weak assed football conference since the beginning of time. UK has had NO competition with the exception of UF for 2 years. The ACC actually had a very tough conference back when you HAD TO WIN the conf. tourney to get to the NCAA tourney, while UK had a cake walk every year. What is UK's record against UNC? Rupp vs Dean? Roy vs UK? Man u guys get riled up over nothing.

I am not mad at all. The SEC HAS NOT been a fairly good conference. What team other than UK has been consistently good over the past 40 years? Take our UF's b2b. KENTUCKY IS IT. Like I said, UK had a cake walk to the NCAA every year when you had to win your conf. tourney. UNC, dook and NC State had to battle it out. Dean owned Rupp and UNC owns UK. We'll see how Cal does with his NBA roster.

92-lost in elite 8 on a last second shot to eventual champion Duke. (considered greatest game ever played, UK was in its first year off probation and had only one all american and a bunch of overachievers.
93-dominated everybody in the tournament and lost in final 4

I AM TYPING THIS IN KENTUCKY...I fly back in forth to L.A. and spend half of my time in Burbank and the rest of my time in Kentucky, where my house is and where my family lives. This isn't some bullshit, where "Oh, I have a cousin there so I can like them." I have spent the majority of my life in Kentucky and moved to Burbank in 2005 and then bought a place here last June.
Rooting for pro teams is different than college teams.

Plus, if you want to start disregarding our titles from back in the day due to some ridiculous logic then take away UNC's and Kansas' titles in the 50s along with UCLA's run in the 60s due to the fact that the tournament wasn't very big at all.

You don't have to have a good shot to be an effective point guard! That will come with time. John Wall has the ability to break down a defense with ease and the last time I checked Jason Kidd's shot, it hasn't gotten any better yet and he's a future Hall of Famer! A point guard's job is to make his teammates better and if he does that then they are a pretty good point guard!
