Very intense memories for me. You can imagine, at 8 years old, getting to Dali for me was an accomplishment, and a time to relax. The fact that I played during sleepy, breezy afternoons with the sun shining through the clouds above (that I could see through a very big window), let's just say, a kid fell into a peaceful sleep while playing his favorite summer video game of 2001 onward. @LionheartGRiev ,I think Dali itself is sad. An almost unknown town, used for evil purposes without its villagers really knowing this. Plus, it's a very quiet and relaxing town, full of innocent people.

It's like Dali is condemned to remain like that.

Love this theme. Instantly struck me when I first went into the town. I just beat this game last year, and it's crazy what I missed out on in all my years with xbox 360. The old games really are gems. I went into this town and it felt so homely. If I was in the FF9 world, I'd settle down in this town, play this music, drink tea... so simple and yet soooooo cozy. For FF7, it's called "Kalm", very calm town indeed with Ahead on our way theme.For FF8, though the one i remembered theme for a town was breezy in Balamb itself. Balamb garden was memorable too, reminded me of going to school especially on the first day. The Dali theme gave a lot of nostalgia like the others. Very surprising to hear this after going through a lot of trouble in the ice cavern,hehe..
