Part 1) This is just a theory but what of Len is actually a snake? Snakes eat frogs and the lyrics refer to how snakes eat meals whole 2:47 "I swallow all of today's dinner whole" and at 2:03 "while dragging the long body" is talking about the way snakes are shaped. And at 2:17 " you instinctively disobeyed me" snakes are frogs natural predators so the frog is instinctively afraid. That's probably what it's about. As to whether the frog he ate in the end is his love or not...

The way I see it, Len is a little.. psychotic(?) I don't know what adjective to use, but he tends to devour the things he loves. And he happens to love a frog. So he devours it. But he's somehow deluded himself into thinking the frog ran away and he didn't eat the frog. Perhaps the frog DID try to run away. Anyway, I think this cycle repeats itself ie he falls in love with frogs from that spring..

Okay I think I get it: Len found a frog and fell in love with it. But one day the frog is gone. It somehow died. He wanted to fatten it up before eating it. So he ate the frog.

They way I see it, Len falls in love with a frog. One day he wakes up, and the frog is gone. The reason is because it was cooked for dinner that night. It could indeed be a Grimm fairytale if that frog happens to be a princess.

I think that by "won't you leave the spring?" mothy may be hinting to the fact that Irregular is trapped inside of the clockwork doll waiting for rebirth in order to go on a quest as stated in Master of the Court. OR I could be looking too much into this and it could all mean nothing. :)

@BoneDaddy6938 "Spring" in the Re_Birthday is a mistranslation, 'cause zemnai more accurately translates to "Clockwork." The word used here is "izumi" is a spring as in a fountain, not a clockwork. :T

Could it be that Len may have been talking about the spring of greed since in Chrono Story, his character and Rin's character sing about the 7 deadly sins? He may have been MAYBE talking of the doll (Miku's charaacteror) and how she's in the spring of greed (Marlon's Court House in U.S.E.) or whatever...
